First & foremost: THANK YOU BAY AREA!

Bringing The Sit Down to another city has been a dream of ours for over a year. We knew that taking our platform out of Colorado would be a big leap of faith, and we also knew that the talent that deserves to be on our platform is far and wide. So we had to just try it out. We’re so glad we did.

In just 3 days we had over 20 Bay Area artists perform on The Sit Down. We were also able to host an event where over 40 talented people showed up and jammed with us. The feeling was pure magic. What stood out the most is that feeling of community we’ve come to know and love in Denver exists in very similar ways out in the Bay.

And we can’t forget to give a massive shoutout to our friends @heykujo & @niambees from @yourhomiesgram. From the start they showed up and helped us navigate our trip. From helping us connect with studios all the way down to picking up a chair for the set. We wouldn’t have been able to make this trip happen without them.

Then, of course, we’re so grateful for our studio partners for allowing us into their spaces and giving us a studio away from home. Big shouts to @thereefstudios @redheronstudios & @northstar.stvdios.

This is just the beginning. We’re planning on bringing The Sit Down to even more cities in the near future. We just need to know who wants us to visit. Let us know in the comments where we should go next!
