Community! We need your help. The Reef has been through many eras and recently, many exciting changes. We’ve been a safe space for artists, dreamers, and kids discovering their sound. We’ve kept our prices low, partnered with local schools, and built a community around healing through music.

But now we need your help to stay afloat. Recent changes in ownership & auditing has created a financial and operational strain on the studio. We just launched a GoFundMe to keep The Reef alive. Please click the link in bio to read more & share this! If this space has ever inspired you, helped you, or made you feel like you belong — now’s the time to give back 💫 by @thereefstudios

Forget Me Nots is THIS FRIDAY 🌸🎶 and I’m so excited to finally bring this one to life.

Come hang with us for an intimate R&B jam session featuring Sunni Ay. Em, OpineIsMyName + Dré Lanier backed by a live band. We’re getting into the deep cuts, some originals, and a little bit of that “waitttt, I forgot about this song!” energy. 😂

✨ Friday, October 2
🚪 Doors: 7:30 PM | Show: 8 PM
📍 The Reef Studios — Oakland
Entrance: 1635 Telegraph Ave
🎸 Live Band
🎧 DJ
🥂 Complimentary drink
🍕 Feel free to bring your own food + drinks
🪑 Seating is first come, first served
🎟️ Limited to 40 guests

This isn’t really a sit-back-and-watch kind of show — it’s more like coming into the room, catching a vibe, singing along, and spending the night with us. 💛

We’re in the final week, so if you’ve been thinking about coming, grab your ticket and meet us at Forget Me Nots. 🌸

🗯️ Create the spaces you wish you had coming up.

During DIRTY DIP SESSION 002 @btoopositive and @jhamesha_jhakara speak on the importance of representation and having spaces where creatives can see themselves, connect with one another, and feel like they belong.

That’s part of why DIRTY DIP exists, to bring creatives together, build community, and create the kinds of spaces we wish we had access to when we were younger.

If we didn’t have the space, we’ll create it for the next generation.
