A sneak peak at some images from our BACKPACK CAMPAIGN 2025 📚 Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and @kookai_australia our Katalyst team, led by our dedicated Program Manager, Ite, hit the ground running, distributing brand new backpacks packed to the brim with essential school supplies to students across Vanua Levu. 🙌🏽✨ These aren’t just backpacks. They’re a symbol of hope, dignity and the belief that every child deserves the right tools to thrive at school. Day 1 saw us reaching: Bua Primary • Coboi Primary • Koroinasolo Primary • Kavula Banikea • Lekutu Primary • Nawailevu Primary • Naruwai Primary Day 2, we continued on to: Immaculate Kindergarten • Baravi Kindergarten • Rt Peni Neumi Primary • Baravi Primary • Rabenaivalu Primary • Rt Luke Primary & Secondary • Nukubalavu, Vunirara & Naevuevi Settlements To every single person who purchased a backpack, you’ve made a real, tangible difference in the lives of these children and their families. Vinaka vakalevu for standing with us to give these young learners the very best start. 💙 @kookai_australia @katalystfoundation #kookai #kookai_australia #enhancingeducation #bua #vanualevu #supportfiji #fiji #buildingbetterfutures #donations #support #educationsupplies @radilaite_tagivetaua @rob.cromb

We’ll be posting lots of ‘real talk with Pete’ this month during the fundraising campaign.. These quotes were collected along the way by friends & family - particularly one sister that always carried a little notebook and would write down all the things he said during her visits.. The inspiring stuff especially, but also the raw vulnerability & tear jerkers 😢.. it was a real roller coaster of emotions reading them all back this week 🥺 but also - so, so special 💚 can’t thank you enough @theresegreen1 This one was about; “using my breath to gather my emotions and strength to keep trying.. learning to do basic things again (like feeding myself or picking up a cup of water) took so much concentration and effort - and hours, weeks, months.. it’s so frustrating - but I knew I had to keep a calmness in order to progress. You can’t lose your cool, you just can’t” Pete Stay tuned for more ‘real talk’ this month… please also support and share Power up Pete’s fundraiser- we’ll also be posting more about the progressive therapies the funds will help us pay for Any support is so very appreciated - even if it’s just a comment or share .. #eternallygrateful ❤️‍🩹 All links in bio #spinalcordinjuryrecovery #spinalcordinjury #quadriplegiclife #quadlife #quadriplegic #keepingyourcool #rehabilitation #rehab
