We Are Entering the Final Week of Fundraising for @poweringuppete . I want to say an ENORMOUS THANK YOU to my Family, Friends and Community. Your contributions, generosity and support have been very Moving.

Pete’s Life before coming a quadriplegic was pretty simple. He lived on the Peninsula, swam most days, kicked the footy with his boys, played golf like a pro, hung out with his Beautiful Em and their puppies and built a beautiful community around him .
Pete is still very much part of that community, he still loves the water and above else his boys .
Life is different, it is harder, re-building his body is a full time job for both he and Em.
Pete will get back to the simple pleasures in life, He will continue to be an Incredible Dad and he will help people who will benefit from what he has learnt along the way.

Training As A Quad ……..
I have been with Pete whist he trains at @thenextstepscirecovery a few times and it was obvious to me that this is where the hard work is and Pete’s Alone .
Pete’s dedicated team of exercise physiologist, create an atmosphere of “YOU CAN”
It is a Vibrant, Energetic scene with people that Celebrate the small WINS and help their clients strive for their Best Self.

There is Music,Laughter , Words of Encouragement and Support.
I leave feeling very privileged for how I live my life.
I am so proud of the Focus, Dedication and Attitude shown by Pete.
Thankyou to everyone for assisting us and helping to change my Brothers Life @poweringuppete and by showing him that “HE CAN “ by @theresegreen1

Real Talk With Pete ……
I was very Fortunate and Blessed to be Able to Spend Quality Time with Pete, whist he was at Royal Talbot Re-Hab, after his accident.
There were numerous times, where I would walk in and he would look at me and say “Welcome to the House of Disappointments “
I could not change what had happened, but I just wanted somehow to make it abit Better. And I do think now, we are making life for Pete, a little bit Better.
But, We Have So Much More To Go !
Let’s Get These Fingers and Toes Working Pete.

Real Talk With Pete …..
Pete has Always Looked at His Life As A Privilege. He has Always Surrounded Himself Around Family and Wonderful Friends.
Since his Accident, He Still Lights Up A Room with His Presence and Storytelling!

My Amazing Brother always Inspires Me in So Many Ways. This is one of his quotes, whilst he was in Re-Hab at Royal Talbot. I have kept a book with all his sayings and I will be posting them for the month of May. We need Help to Power Up Pete, at the moment, so he can continue with his Recovery.

Eighteen months ago, my beautiful brother Pete faced a life – altering accident when a tree fell on his car randomly during his morning commute. Miraculously, Pete survived. The accident left Pete a quadriplegic. Pete has made some great progress, but he still has a long road ahead.

Please help us raise money so Pete has the chance to walk and use his fingers again. The money raised will go towards life changing therapies that are not covered by insurance and are essential to his recovery. All donations are hugely helpful and we are so grateful for your generosity and support.
