I’m so excited to share that my episode of The Right Fit Podcast is officially out today! 🤍

Link to the episode is posted on our LinkTree above!

It was such a fun opportunity to sit down and talk about what goes into creating the weddings we design, from the thought process behind each event to the way we approach floral design as a company. We talked about everything from finding the right vendor fit to building a cohesive vision, pricing, creativity, and what I’ve learned after more than 15 years in the industry.

Whether you’re a couple planning your wedding, someone who simply loves beautiful events, or a florist just getting started, I hope there’s something in this conversation that you’ll find helpful.

I’d love for you to give it a listen and let me know what you think! Hearing your feedback would truly mean the world to me. 🤍

One of my favorite conversations from our episode with The Right Fit Podcast (dropping tomorrow!) was about something I get asked all the time:

“How do you price weddings that are all so different?”

The best way I know how to explain it is with LEGO bricks.

Some weddings are a beautifully built speedboat. Every piece has a purpose, everything fits together perfectly, and when it’s finished you wouldn’t look at it and think it needed anything more. It’s complete. It’s intentional. It’s beautiful.

Then there are weddings that are the Titanic.

Not because one is better than the other—but because it simply takes more bricks.

A 150-person wedding with three bridesmaids, a romantic garden ceremony, and elegant reception florals requires a very different number of pieces than a 350-person wedding with a fully transformed ceremony, floral-lined aisles, towering installations, statement backdrops, and eight bridesmaids.

The quality of the bricks never changes.

That’s the part that’s important to me.

I don’t believe in creating a “lesser” version of our work because a couple has a different budget. Every wedding we design receives the same level of care, artistry, and attention to detail. What changes is the scale—the number of pieces needed to build your vision.

Our pricing has always been a sliding scale based on what you’re dreaming up. Whether we’re building a speedboat or the Titanic, every brick is placed with the same intention.

I can’t wait for you to hear the full conversation tomorrow with @therightfitpodcast

@johnsummit is one of my biggest inspirations. Not just as an artist, but as a person.

The bigger he gets, the more he seems to just lean into being exactly who he is. His authentic energy is truly contagious, and besides dropping absolute bangers (we can all admit his music is absolutely fire), I do believe that his down to earth personality is a huge reason behind his growth.

That’s something I try to carry into my own world. Whether I’m playing a small party or a packed dance floor, my goal is the same: show up as myself.

So thanks John for continuing to inspire a former 9-5’er turned sax guy like myself. Maybe we’ll rip a set together one day, but for now, keep crushing it 🔥🤘
