Four years married to my favorite person. ❤️ A whole lot of laughs, a little chaos, countless memories, and a life I wouldn’t trade for anything. Here’s to continuing to figure out life together, laughing through it all, and making more memories along the way. Happy 4 years to us! 🥂❤️ #roy

The Waitukubuli trail is the Caribbean's first long-distance hiking trail. What's it like to run it?

@theriverswild explored the area a few years back and took viewers along for his run 🏃‍♂️

Solo episode out now: https://rss.com/podcasts/taking-chances-why-not-you/3081959

What is my podcast about? (Scott W. Kummer just asked me and I didn't have a great answer, but I should) My answer used to be about why I started it and how I started it, instead of what it's really about, so you'll have to listen to this episode and find out. #motivation #inspiration #takingchances Taking Chances - Why not you?
I do talk about Mark Dowdle and the Kim Gottwald 's Last Soul Ultra...because in May of 2025, I had the chance to do this podcast with guest #2 Mark Dowdle who just won the Last Soul Ultra. He ran for 94 hours, repeating the same 4.17 mile loops for 94 hours!!! Insane, crazy, but super inspirational and motivating. That's what I hope people who listen or watch the podcast get out of it @mark.dowdle @kim.gottwald @lastsoulultra @coachbryony @diggsultra

Family tradition, a little grit, and a lot of determination. 🏃‍♂️❤️ Ran the Bix with Kyle and his dad today, and even with a boot on, Kyle still got after it. Proud of the effort, the memories, and another race in the books. Already looking forward to next year! 👟💪 #Bix7 #FamilyTradition #GetAfterIt #QuadCities

Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers and father figures who lead with integrity, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Your guidance, sacrifice, and support leave a lasting impact on the lives of those around you.

A special Happy Father’s Day to my husband, Kyle. Watching the relationship you share with Ava and the love, encouragement, and support you give her has always been something I admire. Thank you for the steady presence, generous heart, and countless ways you make a difference every day.

Wishing all the amazing dads a day filled with appreciation, family, and well-deserved celebration. 💙

Do hard things. This was hard. I wanted to quit so many times, mile 13, mile 21, miles 30-35, mile 40-45, mile 45! But I knew that “this too shall pass”. It’s okay to want to quit but you have to convince yourself to keep going! That’s the hardest part. But I did it with some help #running #consistency #whynotyou #ultra #runningcommunity

Every so often a day like today stops me in my tracks and reminds me just how fragile and precious life really is. Seven years ago you were being wheeled back for brain surgery and no one could promise us what life would look like after. There were a million terrifying possibilities and yet here you are alive, strong, laughing, loving, living. I will never forget the fear of that day and I will never stop being grateful for the miracle of you surviving it. We have grown so far beyond the moment that could have changed everything and sometimes it hits me all over again what a gift that is. Here is to seven years of selfies, seven years of second chances, and to the incredible man I get to share this life with. Your story is a reminder that everything can change in a heartbeat. Do not take a single moment for granted. @theriverswild
