I first heard of rope flow through my cousin’s Parkinson’s diagnosis. @prentice.derek
Hearing his health journey and how this helps to manage his tremors got me curious.
I wondered if I might be able to work on my left-side coordination that changed after a viral encephalitis (brain viral infection ) many years ago. Wow, did this show me movements where my left side didn’t flow as easily as my right. It also felt really good, the rhythm, the sound and the feeling of my feet connecting with the ground. The rope helped diaphragmatic breathing too. It was such an all-round experience and true pleasure when a movement clicked.
I’m really grateful for the patience of @theropeflowguy for teaching us, @mid_century_skipper for helping and encouraging us and @megsiej31 for trying this with me too!

Day 284
Hello everyone!👋🏻
Sunday is a fun day!!🤩
I ordered a flow rope from Australia 🇦🇺 back during the 100-day Jump for Joy challenge because I wanted to learn how to use it. I have some really cool ropes from Anthony @theropeflowguy!! 🪢🙌🏻
Definitely check him out!!His flow is awesome!!!💯🔥🌀
But somehow, I always preferred jumping rope.🥹
Then my friend Claire @claires_jumprope_wing_skate_52 mentioned that rope flow is also great during the recovery phase. She was right!!💯
I told her I was lame at it, but she encouraged me to just go and do it. I did it Claire!I just went with the flow, literally.😅 Thank you!🤗🫶🏻
This turned out to be my first flow session.
I hope I managed to do something that actually resembled rope flow.🙈
I’ll be back soon with my release wrap session!!😉
Kisses & hugs!😘🤗

Ok there's a few people to blame for this one, @ros_sanri how dare you introduce me to such a cool song🤣🫠, @theropeflowguy thank you again for another great rope man, I'll keep this one in softer surfaces so it lasts a little longer😅, @mista_skee you totally nailed it with you reel today, the longer I practice the more fun it becomes🥳.

If your brain is always moving a million miles a minute, rope flow might be your new favorite moving meditation—especially if you have ADD or ADHD. 🧠✨

Finding focus can be tough, but the rhythmic nature of the rope actually hacks your nervous system. If sitting still to meditate isn't your thing, this is for you. The movement calms your mind and helps you:

🌊 Unlock deep meditative "flow states"
🎯 Dial in your focus and lock in your attention
📉 Ease anxiety and melt away stress
💡 Boost creative thinking and elevate your overall mood

Tap into the flow state. Have you tried it yet? 👇

Mic Release Challenge from @theropeflowguy 🪢 🤝

Definitely learned a lot from this one! Especially trying it with a few different width ropes. Also kinda surprised myself with the left hand 🤔 (a bit out of necessity - my right arm was pretty toasted after the first two ropes 😂)

Any other takers on this challenge? 👀
