Yesterday I passed my Commercial Multi-Engine checkride and I am now officially graduated from flight school! The past year and a half in Arizona have been absolutely unforgettable. It has been full of early morning prayer, studying for hours on end and trying to use whatever time left to give to family and friends.

When I think about how good God has been, I can’t do anything but think that he is way more than just good. For one he has given me the grace to finish and that in of itself is amazing. He has shown up time and time again throughout this journey and all I can do is just sit back and be thankful. I think saying that flight school is expensive would be an understatement and I was awarded a full tuition scholarship and I could not be more grateful. I am so thankful to @obapexcellence and I cannot wait to continue serving our community by bringing more of us into this industry. Most of this time, I’ve gone without a job and God has provided for me every step of the way. And when I did get a job, it was one that I needed and also was perfect for my situation.

I never would’ve imagined this is what I would’ve been doing with my life a few years ago. I’ve made life-long friendships that my kids will one day see. I’ve made memories that will forever be cherished. And I’ve learned more about myself in the past 2 years than I have in all of my life.

I can’t wait to see what’s next and what else he has written for me.
