A mid-concept design workshop is messy and fun. There are lots of sketches and diagrams, talking you through the merit of the design and options or alternatives that may exist.

I don’t always do a mid-concept workshop; sometimes the overall direction is clear to both the clients and me from the first meeting. But sometimes it’s more complex.

At @thesheathers home in Corryong, Bridie and Nick had a few ideas about how their renovation might work. I had a sneaking suspicion that there was a different layout that would work better. It was important to present this idea in a sketchy loose format rather than blindside them with something quite different as a final refined concept. They could also give feedback on a few areas to workshop further.

Look out for the final version in the coming weeks… I have some exciting news about who is working on them! 😉

What do you love about our organic cotton tees?
So many people tell me how their child loves the feel of the cotton on their skin, and won’t wear anything else.
These make the best Christmas gifts, dress all the cousins in Little Bobbin this year!
🌿3 new designs coming next week!!! 🤍

5 tips for your family photo session

1. Chose a location that has meaning to you.
2. Chose a weekday for less crowds.
3. Bring a blanket for kids to sit on & use as prop.
4. Dress in neutrals, no prints or all over patterns.
5. Most importantly, just have fun. You will remember the experience as much as the photos we capture together.

Happy Mother’s Day to the new moms with little babies at home, the moms with three kids and lots of bad hair days, the dads who’ve stepped in and filled the role of mums missing in action, to the moms who’s children have flown the coop and are figuring out life with an empty nest, to the ones who are trying to conceive-don’t give up, to all those who care for children- big or small-young or old, guiding and nurturing so as to fill up the world with more love, I hope you have the most beautiful day. 💙☁️
