When Nick lost his little brother and best friend I remember six months on from the accident that took Toms life Nick and I were eating dinner and Nick said “I’ll see him again one day and until then I better put on a show for him up there” and if that doesn’t sum up my husband and his way of thinking I don’t know what does. by @thesheathers

I first met Belle during O-Week at uni after hearing stories about her from over the mountain for years. We clicked instantly and became best friends.
Not long after, she introduced me to her cousin, Nick, at the Man From Snowy River Festival. He was very handsome, but since he was Belle’s cousin, we tried our best to just be friends... that didn’t last long.
When we finally asked Belle if she’d be okay with us going on a date, her response was classic: “Sure, but you’ll have to marry him because Gran will hate you otherwise, and I don’t want to cop that.”
Fast forward ten years, and I did marry that cousin. One of the greatest privileges was standing beside Belly G on her wedding day.
She was my first glimpse into the Sheather family, and what a glimpse it was. I’m so grateful she came into my life all those years ago. I just love her. 🥹❤️ by @thesheathers
