Been feeling a rush of gratitude for the gift of stepping on stage this year. Sharing my ideas, my thoughts & stories. The pursuit of material success from art is a wicked rat race & while I’m not rich, I can put a comma on the dollars earned & more importantly, know I was heard. If you’ve been in the audience in 2025, I just want to say thank you for listening. I can’t wait to keep sharing.

Yesterday was the two year anniversary of our mixtape WHIFF. We started it as a way to keep us sharp while we worked on our Space Trilogy & we were so proud of it, we decided to put it out. Feeling > Flawless was the motive we ran with (see slide 3) but it was even with no intentional/central theme, it still felt like a smooth body of work.

What started as the Space Trilogy has shifted form, but it is set to arrive late 2025. I don’t know if I can give a more on the nose peek into the heart of what’s to come than the last slide. Until then, give WHIFF a spin.

One year ago, we gave you Geminaries + Action feat @freekeysha. This year, we continue the journey. Thank you to everyone, especially the strangers that have spun these records, it means the world as we step into the final stages of our next Album.

Six years ago @thesoapsound dropped Vices a year ahead of our first project Scribe and Onglish Aren’t Perfect. My “memories” function on my story is bringing up all the support y’all gave us & it moved me. Our next project is entering its final stages & I just wanted to say thank you to those who have been here from the jump. This next one is our best one.

Love to @_tdesu who made our album art & @zlenderzlender for the mix.

We’re a week out from our two-day season finale at St. Anne’s (check grid for details), but in the meantime, here’s a flashback to last month’s event at @itsok.world 💫

Great thanks to Animatist, @thesoapsound, @freeroseuniverse, @earth2tiffany, @weareteething, @theswinburnecomplex, and @vridhhi for helping us bring the party back to Queen Street!

Long Winter is made possible with funding support from @ontarioartscouncil, @torontoartscouncil, and your pay-what-you-can donations at the door. Special thanks to @itsok.world for making space for us, and to our returning beverage sponsor, @lostcraftbeer, for making sure we never go thirsty.

Much love to @longwinterto for having us be a part of this incredible lineup. Much love to @theonlyeyesha for joining us on stage. Much love to everybody who hit the stage that night & was there to witness. We’re still moved & inspired.
