Time for our annual Halloween exhibition at our beloved @thetempledenver !

Titled “Funhouse” in homage to one of the Temple’s many iterations in its over 100-year history.

4 months to the day since getting keys this space, the Praga etching press, named INFERNO, the last of my equipment, has been moved into the Mixed Grit print shop.

We’re ready to rock and roll!

Swing on through Sunday 10/25 noon-6pm for an official open house and grand opening party 🎉

Not everything in the new print shop is outfitted and ready to be put to use but screen printing is.

10/2/26, Megan became the first printmaker to coat screen in the shop and use the (discontinued) Epson SureColor P800 to print a film of the free-download Screen Printing Exposure Calculator offered by @anthemprinting. Megan also is the first artist to fire up the new (also discontinued) Vastex E-100 Table Top UV Fluorescent Exposure Unit! After an exposure test screen was printed we calculated a lightning quick 28-second exposure time for her artwork.

Then, after eating cookies from @theflourshopcolorado around the corner while screens were drying, the first prints were made in the soon-to-be-open Mixed Grit printmaking workshop!

I poured my heart into making sure this gallery was something that I was proud of. Every photo selected was a reminder of where I’ve been and how far I have traveled to become the person I am today. All we have is memories and the present. Excited for people to come visit, everything is available for a print just hit my dm or visit me at the gallery. 🌅🌄🖼️

Ebonie Lee brings a wealth of experience, artistry, and cultural depth to the Brazilian Zouk and Lambada community. Based in Denver, she has spent over a decade studying, teaching, and helping grow the dance across the United States.

Known for her passion for the history and evolution of Lambada and Brazilian Zouk, Ebonie is dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories, influences, and cultural roots that have shaped the dance we love today. Her thoughtful approach encourages dancers to deepen not only their movement, but also their understanding of the community and traditions behind it.

At Denver Lambada Zouk Fest, July 17–19, Ebonie will lead History Through Movement, a special session exploring the heritage, evolution, and cultural significance of Lambada and Brazilian Zouk. This class is open to beginner track and full pass holders, offering dancers a chance to experience her knowledge, insight, and love for the dance firsthand.
