New York City, I love you 🫶🏾 This was the best thing I've ever pitched and directed to date. I can't emphasize enough how it would not have been possible without the efforts of so many people and so many teams working together. I won't make this long– I just want to say thank you to everyone who helped us and trusted us to bring this to life; including everyone working behind the scenes, and the people I love who supported me. This was an honor and I can only hope it's the beginning.

And thank you, New York City, for creating one more reality in the city of dreams. 🧡

This was a labour of love from us for our favourite actors and one of the most incredible politicians America has seen: @nycmayor

I want to give all the flowers to the wonderful team that put this together. @ohitstahmid was a true visionary and took incredible risks to make this happen. His efforts can’t be understated. A ton of thanks to @sarahanwerkhan for her help in writing this and supporting us throughout the production process. @sarowarrr came through clutch as our DP and had everything figured out from the jump so it was smooth sailing on shoot day. @harry_flax_ came on as a banger sound op with little prep time and was ready to go with 6 mics flying as people entered. Carroll Hall was more than a venue for a recent full-day women’s retreat with The Grand World. It was a space that let the day flow creatively, moving their community through rooms and conversations that felt both grounding and expansive.

From breakfast and keynote speakers inside the hall, to community building and a luncheon in the garden, to hand massages in the treehouse, every corner of our indoor-outdoor venue held something intentional.

For a day centered on navigating ambition, motherhood, and leadership, Carroll Hall was a fitting backdrop for this event.

We’re beyond excited to hear the news! Deli Boys has meant so much to us from the very start — not just for the laughs, but for the way it redefines South Asian American stories.
