How did we turn a tech product into a documentary series? See for yourself. 👀🖥

Thank you to EST Media and DevRev for trusting our team with both Season 1 AND Season 2 of The Computer Program by DevRev which just launched on YouTube! New episodes weekly.

The challenge was getting people to care.

There was a lot of transformation.

Here's what was working.

We were all around the world with the company for many months.

We had to combine multiple forms of storytelling.

The goal? Humanized the people building the tech.

We developed custom animations and graphics.

We went from reactive to proactive as the series progressed.

The outcome for Season 1 was beyond expectations.

It made a huge impact.

An experiment became a new storytelling framework for DevRev.

The project of a lifetime.

There's so much more we could say about our work on Deli Boys (and perhaps one day we will). For now, we wanted to highlight the scope of work we did across two seasons and what Deli Boys has meant to us and South Asian audiences.

New York City, I love you 🫶🏾 This was the best thing I've ever pitched and directed to date. I can't emphasize enough how it would not have been possible without the efforts of so many people and so many teams working together. I won't make this long– I just want to say thank you to everyone who helped us and trusted us to bring this to life; including everyone working behind the scenes, and the people I love who supported me. This was an honor and I can only hope it's the beginning.

This was an absolute honor to have been able to work with @nycmayor !! When we started @thethirdplaceco not too long ago, I had no idea where this would take us, but ever since day 1 we’ve hit the ground running. SUPER PROUD of my co-founders @ohitstahmid and @sheeshyams for all their time and energy that was invested into this project.

This was a labour of love from us for our favourite actors and one of the most incredible politicians America has seen: @nycmayor

I want to give all the flowers to the wonderful team that put this together. @ohitstahmid was a true visionary and took incredible risks to make this happen. His efforts can’t be understated. A ton of thanks to @sarahanwerkhan for her help in writing this and supporting us throughout the production process. @sarowarrr came through clutch as our DP and had everything figured out from the jump so it was smooth sailing on shoot day. @harry_flax_ came on as a banger sound op with little prep time and was ready to go with 6 mics flying as people entered. We’re beyond excited to hear the news! Deli Boys has meant so much to us from the very start — not just for the laughs, but for the way it redefines South Asian American stories. Thanks so much @onyxcollective to for tapping us to run the social marketing for Season 1, we’re not exaggerating when we say this has been a dream project for our humble shop. This entire project was a huge labour of love and we’re thankful to have played a small part of bringing this world to your phone screens. Congrats to the entire team of Deli Boys. Season 2 is going to be even better!
