Darling Sersales of @lesirenuse

You make 75 look impossibly chic. Congratulations on this beautiful milestone—and on your brand-spanking new @sirenusemare , already a seaside institution.

Thank you for having us over for some pasta and dancing.

🏜️Unposted from my last road trip across Wyoming - Idaho - Utah - Nevada - Arizona - California

An itinerant exhibition to invite the human race share space with wild animals. A call to coexistence.

5000 miles from NY to LA with a herd of 100 elephants, each of them representing a real wild indian elephant living in peace with Adivasi indigenous communities in the Nilgiri Hills.

40% of the indian forests and their wildlife are threatened by Lantana camara, an invasive plant that has been used to create the elephants and that will be transformed into biochar on a larger scale.

You can still visit (and buy) elephants at the Wallis  Annenberg  Center  for  the  Performing  Arts in Beverly Hills (until the 1st of August), LA.

I’ve joined the migration for the last 1000 miles, starting my weeks in the US horseback riding on my own across the prairies of Wyoming, with bears, moose and bisons as companions. Just to clear my mind and reconnect with my purest self.

On horseback through the wild trails of Grand Teton, I felt the pulse of a land where coexistence isn’t a slogan: it’s a way of life.

Piece of advice: if in Jackson, step into the National Museum of Wildlife Art, where centuries of brushstrokes echo the untamed bond between humans and the wild with talented grace and beauty.

The last picture? It’s just me receiving a Blackfeet indian name during a proper celebrating ceremony, with that legend called Ami Vitale taking pictures 🥹

Being part of @greatelephantmigration was a deeply inspiring experience 🐘🌱
I had the privilege of joining the final caravan of this unique journey across the United States, carrying a powerful and necessary message: it’s time to reconnect with nature, with our roots, and with the species we share this planet with.
At a creativity-filled event in Beverly Hills, one hundred life-sized elephant sculptures, handcrafted by Indigenous communities from southern India, became a symbol of awareness, art, and coexistence.

Thank you for the invitation and for reminding us that protecting life can also be an act of beauty. 🌿

We did it!
We crossed the finish line in LA, and our glorious, magnificent herd of elephants is now proudly exhibited @thewallisbh in Beverly Hills. And wow, have they made an impact. They look absolutely sensational!

I feel so proud of everyone who took part in this journey. We’ve made incredible friendships, shared an unforgettable life experience, and most of all, I’m deeply grateful for our inspiring leader and my dear friend who has led this mission from start to finish with such heart, creativity and vision, I am in awe of you @mrsganesh100 ! And thank you @jennazouri for being the best driving buddy a girl could have, this trip wouldn’t have been the same without you.

Already, many sculptures have been sold, raising a phenomenal amount of money and awareness for all the conservation projects involved. I am truly proud!

If you’re in or near Beverly Hills, please go and see them, they’ll be at The Wallace throughout July. And if you’d like to support this incredible initiative by giving one of these magnificent sculptures a forever home, visit https://thegreatelephantmigration.org/ or DM me ❤️

Each one is handcrafted from lantana, the invasive weed that elephants often get entangled in in the wild and transformed by the talented artists and artisans from indigenous communities who were with us last night, making it a true celebration of art, impact, and connection.

I cannot wait to see where the Great Elephant Migration takes us next.

Day 3/4. Hit the road early and made it to Vegas in good time, the mayor gave us the key to the city and a police escort for our great elephant convoy down the strip. We stretched our legs with some dancing in the car park, was feeling rather smug about how on top of this road trip we were.

But beware the early gloat.

South of Vegas, we realised we only had 30 miles of petrol left. No garage in sight. No phone reception. Just us, the scorching desert, and a long stretch of nothingness. We had been searching for over an hour—nothing, started to feel like we were in a Coen Brothers movie.

Finally, with 8 miles left in the tank the truck behind us came to the rescue. Managed to unstrap one of the straps from our elephant (don’t ask ) and was towed 81 miles to the nearest garage white knuckling it all the way, luckily my ride or die @jennazouri showed her true grit behind the wheel.

Note to self: always carry a spare can of petrol when driving through America. We didn’t see a gas station for over 150 miles. Can you believe that?

Arriving in Joshua Tree felt like a miracle. More dancing, of course, then some powerful words from the Lion Guardians 🦁. As mother to my very own lion guardian @freyaaspinall, it was inspiring to meet this extraordinary community protecting lions on the ground in Kenya.

I know a certain lion-loving queen, who would’ve adored the evening.

Retired to our airstreams.

Next stop: our drive to the finish line .. L.A baby! ✨
