Alpha Legion, maybe… hobby progress and event action…

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What a weekend! Up at tabletop battles for doubles hosted by @leicesterphatcats the Alpha Legion paired up with gibbo's gorgeous (and grimy) new death guard. Four great games, 2 wins and 2 losses, and to top it all off we got best traitor team! 🫶

There were some really lovely armies, these are probably my favourite pictures from the weekend. More will definitely follow.

For now though... Sleep time! 😅

Cracking first day at @attritiongamingevents Carrion Void Campaign.

First game against @theunbrokenchain Alpha legion. Loads of fun, close all the way through and came down to Last Man Standing. Brilliant opponent.

Second game with @_onlyhandz_, now this guy plays tough! Strong list! Didn’t help that my storm eagles refused to come on 😂

One of the awards at #centurionprotocol yesterday was (unsurprisingly) a celebration of the humble Centurion. Davide, Aaron and I picked our favourites to put on display for people to vote on at break time. By an overwhelming majority it was @tiny_tempers ' stunning World Eaters Centurion that took the top prize! And it's very well deserved. This fella looks incredible on the tabletop. 🔥🔥🔥

Congrats also to our runners up, Matt (@the.hobby.diary), Chris (@theunbrokenchain), Ed Milton and Caspian Leigh! Top hobbying!!!

**In the interest of openness, I did use AI in order to cut out this image to give it a nice background as I didn't get a chance to on the day, but rest assured that 100% is the model itself with no editing!**

Game one of @wendigo_events_ dark genesis heresy event was against a traitor army of alpha legion and sons of Horus, was a really good game, great opponents with really well painted armies! Victory went to the traitors after hemming us in with some alpha legion trickery and then some brutal sons of Horus terminator rampage!

Travelled up to Warhammer World yesterday with the @3mugs1monster crew and played a hilariously chaotic 3 player game using the Centurion rules that me and @tricer_da are currently cooking up. G'dayum grav rapiers hit me HARD, but when the board looks this gorgeous it makes it all worthwhile.
Also I took WAY too many pictures. 😅

The master of disaster, the person everyone loves to hate, his daily existence is a mystery to civilisation, our favourite @theunbrokenchain and his #alphalegion on display at @malmofigurspel #mww9. It's nice to see he left the double melta leviathans at home this year 👀😄

Photo dump 1 of possibly 3 at @malmofigurspel #mww9 from this weekend!

It's been insane discovering so many new armies, seeing which direction people are going with different legions, and what works and doesn't work!

It's fair to say there were some very unique lists at Malmo this year, avoiding the rhino rush meta(!!), and the overall hobby standard was first class.

The kit bashing is probably second to none, perhaps because of those long, cold winters in Scandinavia 😆😆

As my old mate Toby says, the hobby was most definitely the winner! 🔥🔥🔥
