Returning home from @gfromthewarp Christmas Doubles. I had a great time doubling up with my partner in crime @tiny_tempers coming away with 2 wins, a loss and a draw.

Crowning it all, I was absolutely blown away to pick up silver in the “Best Single / Small unit” standard entrant category hosted and judged by @hobbytime_podcast ! I’ve never won anything for painting before, but over the past 6 months, I’ve been inspired to try and up my game and level up my painting. Sadly I don’t actually have a pic of the finished unit, so here’s one of a nearly finished unit. Without getting too soppy, this means an awful lot, especially considering the incredible work on display!

I had the absolute delight of attending the @heresyhammershow soft open event this weekend. The Scouring of Kirokon was a fantastic setting of the scene which promises to be a great series of events.

4 brilliant custom missions, and 5 excellent opponents! Absolutely loved it.
Thank you to @meddersminiatures and team. Everyone needs to get their asses down to their new venue!

Enjoy the army preview for what I took.#horusheresy #heresy #fullypaintedisforclosers #alphalegion #warhammercommunity #warhammer #hardforheresy #heresyhammer #hardforheresy by @theunbrokenchain

Re-uploaded due to Instagram destroying the video quality of first upload…

Back from a great weekend of gaming @wendigo_events_ along with @tiny_tempers at my right hand. The army even got papped by @lionsofcaliban !

I was stoked to be one of 6 armies nominated by EO’s for Best Painted army. Sadly I didn’t come away with an award, but to even be nominated is bonkers! Truly humbled!

Quite a different way to spend the day yesterday!
As a birthday gift from family, I had a Blacksmithing experience day, where I forged a knife!

What an experience! by @theunbrokenchain

A superb shot of my all new DG from last weekend.
I loved getting them on the table top and getting some games in!

As the sun sets on my 35th rotation around the sun. I wanted to take a few moments to thank everyone I have in my life, friends who make my life better, hobby colleagues who constantly challenge me to do and be better, and brothers and sisters who make this life something to cherish.

Thank you everyone for your love, support and encouragement. Here’s to the next one, and to more Heresy! by @theunbrokenchain

Absolutely stocked to come away from the weekend with “Best Traitor army” with my compadre @hobbyhobbitgaming .
I gave my new Death Guard their first run out, alongside Ian’s Alpha Legion.
Turns out, we make a good pair!

Thank you to @leicesterphatcats for hosting with @soggychipsnz and a huge thank you to all our opponents, who clearly loved either being spanked by us, or spanking us! All 4 were great games! by @theunbrokenchain

An absolute delight to give the Death Guard their maiden outing alongside @hobbyhobbitgaming and his Alpha Legion.

Game one in the bag, and a strong win for the team!

And with that, we’re all finished on my final Death Guard unit ready for the weekend.

I wanted to try something a bit more ambitious for this centre piece model. I’m rather happy with the outcome!

And that is the Poisoners finished.
I aimed for a more desaturated scheme for this unit, to represent the Rad and Chemicals of their chosen weapons bleaching their armour.

I can’t wait to get these on the table top!
