🎙️ Unmuted, the podcast that amplifies voices
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
📲 It started with a note on my phone: “Create a podcast.” March 2024. A quiet dream. A maybe-one-day. Fast forward → my daughter is 18 months old, and Unmuted is real. 🎙 8 episodes out. 2 more on the way. 🔥 Topics we don’t sugarcoat: racism, feminism, identity, mental health, neurodiversity, power, privilege… This isn’t “just” a podcast. It’s a safe space. A counter-narrative. A place where we exist and resist. Season 2? 👀 New co-host. 🎥 New format (yes, we’re going video). Same mission: amplifying our voices. Thank you for showing up, listening, and sharing space with me and my guests. 💛 💬 What do you want us to talk about in Season 2? Drop it below. #UnmutedPodcast #BehindTheMic #DEI #AmplifyVoices #PodcastLife #WomenWhoSpeak #InclusionMatters #PodcastInspo #VulnerabilityIsStrength

🎙️ Unmuted Episode 4 : Last one before our Winter Break! I had the privilege of speaking with @sarraelma, journalist and project manager at @adim_mediadiversite, she's also producer of @nos.heritages podcast. Sarra shares her powerful perspective as a racialized woman navigating the journalism and cultural industries. Spaces often dominated by stereotypes and systemic biases. We dive into: ⚖️The tension between journalistic "neutrality" and the need for inclusion 🏃 The pressures of speed in modern journalism and its role in spreading bias and fake news 💚 The urgent need for safe spaces where voices can be heard and respected Sarra’s testimony reminds us that inclusion isn’t optional. It’s essential for shaping industries that reflect the diversity of our societies. 🎧 Tune in to Unmuted now and join the conversation.
