OMG! Our show with @thewalkawayspdx on Saturday was one of the highlights of the year. We knew it would be good, but the whole experience transcended all expectations. They cooked up such a fun setlist which included many deep cuts like this nugget, which Phish only played once. The music was great but the vibe was even better. All adorned in golden attire, this crowd was grooving hard from start to finish! Happy 50th birthday Chrissy and thanks so much for bringing such an epic crew of people together from all over the country. It was a thrill to host so many first time visitors to the area. Thanks to the band for traveling from Portland. We can’t wait to have you back!

That’s not the river. That’s a quarry, cutting rock headed for Audrey McCall Beach. We’re two phases into a four phase rebuild of the space under the Hawthorne Bridge. New mural, fencing, bike racks, and this rock going in where a chain link fence has sat for over a decade. Metro’s Nature in Neighborhoods grant is helping fund it. Grants don’t cover everything though. Down By The River, our fundraiser, is next Saturday, September 12 at Skylab Architecture. It’s what keeps phase 3 and phase 4 moving once this grant runs out. Tickets are $75, and features an incredible scene with 3 bands and a whole bunch of river lovers. BONUS: IT’s for a great cause and a great organization. See you there!

‘Down By The River’ is a celebration of what we can accomplish when we come together. We have a solution to the algae bloom. Ten years of research with OSU went into the plan to fix what’s broken in Ross Island Lagoon, and this fundraiser is how that work keeps moving. Come toast the wins, then help us fund the next one. Saturday, September 12 at Skylab Architecture. L I N K in B I O #WillametteRiver #RossIslandLagoon #HumanAccessProject 📸HAP archive and @_split.time_

We didn’t book one band for this. We booked three. The Walkaways bring their covers. Top Shelf All Stars bring the funk. And The Gray Band, well, no photos exist of them, we’re told they’re real, you’ll just have to hear it to believe it. Saturday, September 12 at Skylab Architecture. Three bands, one night, all for the river. Join the Riverlution and grab your ticket. Side note: the music is a royalty free soundtrack, not any of the bands. #HumanAccessProject #jointheriverlution 📸 Courtesy of the artists

It’s so fun, why stop? Down By The River is Saturday, September 12 at Skylab Architecture, and it’s for the people in these clips. The ones who show up & Splash Down. We’ll have three bands & good food/drinks. Grab your tickets and your river buddies. Help us continue the party. 📸 @_split.time_ @dustinpattison_photography #HumanAccessProject #WillametteRiver #jointheriverlution

Today is National Nonprofit Day, which feels like a weird thing to celebrate until you remember every beach you’ve swum at this summer exists because a nonprofit fought for it. No city budget hands out beaches. No one else pulls concrete out of the riverbank for free. That happens because people decide to back the work, and then people like us throw a really good party to keep it going. Down By The River is Saturday, September 12 at Skylab Architecture. 3 bands, food, drinks, and a room full of people who think Portland deserves a river it can actually use. Buying a ticket is basically the most fun way to celebrate national nonprofit day that exists. 📸 @_split.time_ @dustinpattison_photography #HumanAccessProject #WillametteRiver #jointheriverlution #tuesdaysplashdown
