The MANUMIT ALL TORS documentary is (finally!) out now!!🎬

In May 2025, five runners set off from Princetown to link every publicly accessible tor on Dartmoor in one continuous loop, and establish an official ‘Fastest Known Time’ for the route in the process.

Ahead lay open moorland, bogs, rivers and two long nights on the move. Alongside them, a support crew and filmmakers helped bring the attempt, and its story, to life.

Today, we’re proud to share the full documentary.

Dartmoor has shaped Manumit from the beginning. Seeing this adventure unfold across our home landscape makes this a special film for us to share.

Six years ago, a man stepped forward into the arena

Armed with nothing but an internal desire to find his own path and the resilience of a thousand armies

Not only to have walked the entire coastline of the UK once, but twice through every weather, challenge and moments that changed everything, as well as raising thousands for charities and breaking down those walls about Mental Health

There were times where he looked up the skies and searched for direction, but he knew there was only one and that was forward

I will always be proud of you brother and nothing but love, through it all you displayed every core tenet of the Royal Marine’s Commando Spirit

Courage: Getting out front and doing what is right.
Determination: Never giving up.
Unselfishness: Putting others before self.
Cheerfulness in the face of adversity: Maintaining humor as the heart of morale.

There are many that talk the talk, but @thewarriorwalker walks the walk

You really have no idea where one little ‘yes’ might take you. TBH it was a nervous ‘yes’.

Yesterday these paintings were packed into the van and taken to wonderful event with @theconventus at St Giles House in Wimborne, where I’d been invited to exhibit my work alongside a day of brilliant speakers, conversations and some seriously inspiring people.

Standing there with my paintings, I had one of those little moments of thinking… how did I end up here?

I didn’t start this with a big plan. I just started painting because I needed something that felt like mine. Something creative. Something that made me happy.

Then one thing led to another.

A painting sold. Then another. I said yes to opportunities even when I felt nervous. I kept learning. Kept turning up. Kept going.

And somehow, little by little, it has taken me to places I never imagined.

So to any woman reading this who feels like she’s missed her chance, is too old to start again, isn’t confident enough, or has absolutely no idea what she’s doing…

start anyway.

You don’t need the whole plan.

Sometimes you just need the courage to take the first step and see what happens next.

Yesterday was one of those days that made me very glad I did. ❤️

Here’s to starting late, changing direction and surprising yourself.
