Of the 4 years I spent walking this is top 3 memories for me!

The open and expansive lands of magical Scotland. Thought I was William Wallace out there, a very cold William Wallace, who thankfully wasn’t wearing a kilt.

2 weeks walking from Uig, Skye to Glasgow via the epic @westhighlandwayofficial in January. ( Absolutely not recommended )

Temperatures got as low as -16 degrees 🥶 yet I was still out there 15 days straight getting it done covering hundreds of KM’s in order to walk another lap of the UK covering 20’000 KM’s 🇬🇧 🇬🇧

I could never get warm enough & walking just about kept me functioning.

It was the hardest of weeks & I can count on both hands how many people I saw out there in that time.

Yet now I’ve done it I look back and smile & always think, what’s next?

Humans can do hard things.

What can I say, a lot actually it turns out.

Honoured & humbled to be invited to share my story to all @bordersbookfest over the weekend.

A whirlwind festival was had in Melrose. I adore Scotland & it’s one place I feel so alive.

My talk was sold out to 100 people! That still makes me smile as I genuinely thought there would maybe be around 2-10 people show up at 2100 on a Saturday night. Especially only hours away from Scotlands first World Cup game. Thank you to those who came, listened & bought my book after & during the festival.

I met the best humans as I made many a friend & obviously hugged all the dogs I could.

One day I will tell you what I said that made Prue laugh quite a lot.

I felt like a kid in a sweet shop the whole time full of excitement. I actually have a real life book, Me! Never ever not overjoyed by this.

To all those who spoke to me, complimented me, laughed with me, shared their story or someone else’s as I shared mine, drank a wee dram with me, hugged it out with me ( There was a lot of hugs ) just Thank you!

Huge thanks to all the @bordersbookfest staff who were incredible from start to finish. Thank you to all the people of Melrose also who made me feel very welcome as I walked around your beautiful town. I will be back!

Happy International Coffee Day!!! ☕️

Best drink I’ve ever drank.

The walks for a coffee before ‘ The Walk ‘ actually saved my life.

Now I also work at a cafe in Dartington, Devon with a great bunch of humans. @designscafeuk

I’ve drank the gods drink all over the world as you can see here. From Bangkok, Paris, Marrakesh, Siem Reap to Devon & all in between…

I love this picture that was captured over the weekend.

Deep in conversation about life & it’s magic no doubt.

I went for a walk and never ever imagined it would lead me to where I am now.

There is no room too big or small that I ever take for granted.

Humbled, blessed, passionate & always excited.

Had a wonderful 24 hours in Burford!

It felt like I was in the movie ‘ The Holiday ‘ whilst there.

I spoke this morning & it went so very well as they always seem to do now. All the books that were there sold out which is so good! I then visited @madhatterbookshop to sign the Author wall, still weird saying that.

I met the most amazing humans & leave a part of The Cotswolds with more friends than I came with. My highlight & there were many, was the absolutely beautiful Iris, who received more hugs than I can remember.

I will be back to Burford very soon to do some more talks & a walk which I’m super excited for.

Thank you to Kim @madhatterbookshop for inviting me down to talk & the kind humans who received me with love, support & excitement.

I’m very proud of what I’ve done in such a short time with this book.
