This picture was taken during one of our many trips to the ocean where we would house and dog sit for our frienths, the France’s and also at time in my life where I was slowly getting off the medication that made the intrusive thoughts and depression and anxiety so bad that I barely made it through. Thankfully, a lot of healing happened at that ocean and over the years and I’m so grateful to still be standing and that The Wave exists because of our struggles through mental health and to be a place where others can go for their own health and healing.

A little stronger every time I show up for myself. One pulse at a time. 🤍

Pilates for life.

Grace and fluidity on the surface, strength and power underneath. Pilates, like the ocean, reminds us that what looks effortless can hold incredible force.

Lori… who knew showing up for 5 AM Pilates would bring me a friendship I would treasure this much? 🤍

You’ve spent the last year encouraging me, challenging me and making those early mornings something I look forward to. Somewhere along the way, you became so much more than my instructor… you became like a sister to me.

Getting to help plan and host your bridal shower alongside Joey and Shelby, who have also become such dear friends to me, was such a joy! It meant so much to gather with people who love you and pour a little of that love back into you.

I’m so grateful for the beautiful studio Mel has built at The Wave Pilates and the incredible community you’ve helped create within it. It has brought so much more into my life than exercise… friendships, connection, laughter and women I truly cherish.

You have the most incredible way of bringing people together and making each person feel like the most important person in the room. I hope you felt every bit as loved and celebrated as you make the rest of us feel. 🥹

And what a privilege to be part of this next chapter with you and Marc… helping you build your dream home, ready in January, and helping sell three homes along the way! The trust you’ve placed in me means more than I can say.

I treasure you and our friendship, sweet friend. You are such a blessing to me and so many others, and I cannot wait to watch you walk down the aisle in just a couple of weeks!

I love you and Marc so much. Here’s to the beautiful life you’re building together. 🤍🥂

Last Friday, I finally convinced Jeff to join me for Date Night Pilates at The Wave…and I’m pretty sure he felt that workout for the next four days! 😂

We got to experience it with a few of our sweet friends, and there was so much laughter and joy in that room. It was such a fun way to spend a Friday night together!

I have loved Pilates for the last year and a half and what it has done for my body, but one of the greatest gifts has been the community I’ve found at The Wave. I’m so grateful for this place, the friendships it has brought into my life and the way it continues to make movement feel joyful.

And the best part…even after being sore for days, Jeff said he would absolutely consider doing it every week! I’m calling that a very successful date night! 🤍

Reposted from @puberty :

This 90 year old retired doctor is the oldest known person to hike to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Dr. Art Uline had already climbed the mountain twice before but in 2022, he was forced to turn back at 17,000 feet sick and unsure if he’d ever have the chance again.

Months after a hip replacement surgery, he decided to try again for his 90th birthday. On July 13th, 2026 he reached the summit ad was met with a birthday cake and this incredible accomplishment.

Thank you for the wisdom and encouragement shared and for the inspiration that you are Dr. Art! 🤍🙏🫶
