The cosy season has now officially started in Amsterdam with weather changing between clouds, rain, wind and also beautiful sunshine in between. I really like this season when the colors are changing and you can warm in one of the many cute cafes and restaurants! And enjoy the great museums Amsterdam has to offer!

Feeling inspired already? Our silk room is still available as from mid next week due to a cancellation! Contact us for details 🍁💛

October is here 🍂 and we’re definitely ready for the cosy season.

We have some beautiful 100% wool rugs in the shop at special prices right now — all made with natural materials and plenty of warmth and texture.

So if you’ve been thinking about a new rug, maybe now is a good time. 🤎

Have a look at our sale rugs online — there are some real beauties in there, like the ones shown here beautifully by @fantasticfrankamsterdam and more.

Contact us with questions or if you would like more details!

Bright & beautiful, warm & stylish! The rug really helps to bring together all the elements to form a harmonic interior and really make a home a home!

And yes! Hometryouts are possible if you would like to feel a rug in your own environment first!

Large windows invite the sun to reach deep across the rooms, creating a bright, open volume where daily life slows down. Outside, the surroundings are made for sunny days. Park your boat directly at the boathouse across the water, look out at the reflection, and unwind.

We love our little rug store.
Just a 7 min walk from our home and B&B, it’s set just a stone’s throw away from the popular Albert Cuypmarket. The area is called De Pijp and it’s super relaxed, yet fashionably cool, very lively and nice to explore! During the day you can enjoy a nice stroll along the nice stores and the market, and in the evening it offers a great choice of easygoing restaurants and bars!

Stillness and space without losing the city’s pulse. Named The Jacob, this 106 m² corner apartment in the ‘Het Groenland’ complex embraces an open volume of light and water. A generous 2.95-meter ceiling height creates an airy spatial rhythm, while large windows frame panoramic perspectives of the historic harbor and the Markerhuisje.

The Harlem House. Set on the Haarlemmerdijk, this double upper house fuses historical charm with a considered aesthetic. Authentic wooden beams and solid oak floors offer a tactile, textured calm above the city’s pulse. A rare stillness is found on the private roof terrace. 68 sqm of light-filled, design-led living. Always nice to see @chefvanderlecq and we are excited to start working on his custom-made rug together.

We’ll share the outcome later. Slow process, honest work — and always worth the wait!
