🔲 ☕ Coffee & Cartier & Cars.

Caught up with a friend and got hands-on with his new CWC thegreynato podcast titanium  special - a seriously capable diver and effortlessly cool.

Then a brief stop to see Arwind at Tortoise Watches for some neo-vintage temptation: a stunning 1981 Rolex Submariner ref. 5513 No-Date that Bond would be proud of alongside a white-gold vintage Rolex Day-Date with those deliciously aged lume plots. The sort of patina you simply can't manufacture.

And, of course, parked up in my favourite garage - which I'm increasingly convinced houses most of the world's supply of Rolls-Royces.

Have a great one Watch Fam 💯 😎

Recently, the amazing team at Breguet London hosted a few of my favourite watch hombres and me to explore the Tradition collection at their Bond Street boutique.

Horological heritage, top notch hospitality and some of my favourite people in the watch world. Pretty much the perfect trifecta for a watch day. 🤝

And I don’t need to tell you, Breguet are making moves (again).

Vintage and neo vintage pieces are getting more attention, the latest releases have been absolute bangers, and this kind of collector outreach is exactly what gets people talking, sharing and, inevitably, adding things to the wishlist.

There’s something really refreshing about seeing a historic maison engage directly with collectors and let people experience the watches properly, rather than just seeing them through a display window.

A huge thank you to @rosen.agushev and the Breguet London team for making the afternoon extra special and for looking after us so well.

Here are a few vibes from the afternoon. Enjoy. ❤️⌚

🇮🇳 A story of two nations.

Indian Independence Day carries a unique meaning for those of us with roots in India but born in Britain 🇬🇧

The history between the two countries is long, complicated and deeply intertwined.

Independence in 1947 began a new chapter, but the connection never disappeared.

From the service and sacrifice of Indian soldiers in two World Wars, to the generations who helped shape modern Britain through the NHS, business, industry, science and culture, India's contribution to Britain forms an important part of our shared history.

Individuals of Indian heritage in the UK consistently rank among the highest-achieving and highest-earning groups across education, business, public service, and the arts and always very proud to be British.

I'm fortunate today to visit India, spend time with my family and remain connected to that heritage.

Here the strap colours of the Tiranga on my Cartier Chronoflex Yearling and Ebel Worldtime Voyager - time spans countries, cultures and time zones.

And, with a touch of historical irony, a Churchill Cuban cigar - an interesting choice given Winston Churchill’s complicated relationship with India.

Time moves forward, but understanding where we came from matters.

Happy Indian Independence Day. Jai Hind. 🇮🇳

🔺 Red marble dial. Sharp lines. Angular case. Wonderful presence on the wrist. Slim and architectural

Only 30 of these watches were made with the red marble dial.

Not gold but a modern steel tribute to the legendary Rolex King Midas Ref. 9630.
