Through Christ’s sacrifice, the promise of blessing extended beyond the Jews to the Gentiles. The blessing of Abraham is not simply about material wealth; Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.
Through faith in Christ, the blessing promised to Abraham has come to the Gentiles, and we receive the promise of the Spirit.
📌 [Genesis 15:6] [Galatians 3:13–14]
We were once alienated from God’s promises and far away, but through the blood of Christ, we have been brought near. What was once beyond our reach has been made available through His sacrifice.
📌 [Ephesians 2:12–13]
This is the Good News: Christ suffered, died, and rose again according to the Scriptures. His suffering was not the end of the story; the glory followed. Through His finished work, we have been brought near to God and given the hope of life in Him.
📌 [1 Corinthians 15:3–4] [Luke 24:26–27]

![The Good News is not complete without understanding the suffering of Christ and the glory that followed.
This Sunday, Pastor Wisdom John @thewisdomjohn took us deeper into the message of salvation, showing us that the suffering and death of Jesus were not a surprise, but part of God’s redemptive plan revealed through the Scriptures.
The prophets spoke beforehand about the sufferings of Christ and the glory that would follow.
From the Scriptures, we see that His death was not an interruption of God’s plan; it was part of His purpose from the beginning.
📌 [1 Peter 1:10–11] [Luke 24:25–27]
Jesus was wounded and smitten, not because He had done anything wrong, but because of us.
His suffering had a purpose, and beyond the pain was something greater that He came to accomplish.
📌 [Isaiah 53:4–5] [Acts 8:32–35]
Jesus described His death through the picture of a grain of wheat falling into the ground and dying to produce many seeds. His death would bring forth a harvest.
He died, but through His death and resurrection, many would receive life and become part of God’s family.

![The Good news is that he who believes in Christ, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Christ shall never die.
📌[John 11:25-26] [John 8:51]
The prerequisite for eternal life is believing in the finished work of Christ. Whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
We are saved by believing in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing Him as Lord.
Money is not the power of God unto salvation
Fear is not the power of God unto salvation
Morality alone is also not the power of God unto salvation, we don’t consecrate so we can enter , No. We enter and that is why we consecrate.
📌The Gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation
That we were once dead in our trespasses, but through Christ, we have been made alive. Not by nobility, not by works, but we are saved by Grace through Faith.
📌[Ephesians 2:7-8]
Salvation is a gift of grace that brings eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Though all have sinned, we are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
📌[Romans 6:23, Romans 3:23-24]
This is the Good News: That eternal life is God’s gift unto us and all who believe in Christ have life in Him.
That Christ died, was buried, and rose from dead, and we are also resurrected with Christ.

![One Sunday was not enough to cover the depth of the Good News, so we had to continue!
This Sunday, we continued our teaching series on The Good News with our pastor, Pastor @thewisdomjohn, as we delved deeper into the message of Salvation through Jesus Christ.
The Gospel is called Euangelion meaning Good news and good tidings.
To understand the Good News, we must begin from the beginning.
📌[Genesis 1:26, Genesis 5:1,2 ]
God created male and female in His image and called them Mankind. Through one man, Adam, sin entered the world, and death came through sin.
But the Good News is that through the second Adam, Jesus Christ, we have received eternal life through His death, burial, and resurrection.
Christ is risen from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. Through His resurrection, we have the assurance of our own resurrection and the hope of eternal life.
