In the weeks leading up to your passing, I found myself sitting with your people, sharing stories, listening, and remembering.

And there was one thing that kept coming up again and again. Eug, you are one of the most authentic human beings we’ve ever met.

You showed up.
For yourself, and for everyone around you.
Fully present, every time.
That’s how you made us feel seen, heard, and held. That’s your magic sauce.

Running was never just running for you.
It was how you connected with yourself, with people, and with something bigger than you.

Through @thehighpanterssg you and @cheekadeechinadechinesechicken created something that went far beyond miles.
Fundraisers, yoga sessions, flea markets… all in support of @hopefamthai

I still think about those trips to Chiang Mai -
meeting the girls, seeing their lives, understanding what our small contributions could do. We believe when we educate girls, we change entire communities.

And this is my why.
Why I’m so proud to be part of @thehighpanterssg

Eug, you’ve always been ahead of the curve.
Feels like you still are.
When we meet again, we’ll trade stories.

Till then, I know you’ll be dancing.
Like no one’s watching, and like everyone is.

Through every class and challenge, we not only moved our bodies — we helped support children’s education in Cambodia and the Philippines with Children of the Mekong, and empowered women in Singapore through Aidha.

Kicking off week 1 of Project Dawn with intention, goals and a bang 💥
