“Self-love isn’t only soft. If you truly love someone, you don’t just indulge them. You also tell the truth, set boundaries, correct what’s hurting them, and push them toward what they’re capable of. Loving yourself should look the same: YES to rest, pleasure, and kindness, but also to discipline, learning, and the uncomfortable growth that protects your future. Self-love is treating yourself like someone you’re responsible for becoming.”

Yvette shared that 2025 was the year she fully stepped out of her comfort zone. Almost as soon as she stepped away from a door, many other opportunities began to open up. Her reminder for 2026? Have the courage to trust the closing of doors, and to step gently into new ground.

A reminder that letting go is making space for what’s meant to arrive.
