another day, another instagram post that doubles as my diary. since coming back from spain, it's been one battle after another while simultaneously trying to not internalize it to the point i've had to seek refuge with my family. but in that, i think about how grateful i am to have a home to go to with a family (including cyd and vic) that can let me be the rawest versions of me - and i think about how i have that in LA too, in nature, companionship, community. but, when my heart is extra tender though, it tends to forget - especially w/ the pressure of being an "adult figured it out" and not being babie. bodies of water, touching earth and small life, affirmations, venting and being heard, crying, weighted blankets, club penguin, cold lemon water, and touches on my heart and the top of my back remind me that i can be. ૮꒰ ˶• ༝ •˶꒱ა

Art is my sanctuary. I create to be at peace with myself. Overtime, I’ve learned how gratifying it can be to create with community. I am eternally grateful that I get to help provide this space for those who yearn to create & connect. Thank you for creating with us.✦ ݁˖

join us for a spirit-filled summer communal experience on the river, a day of giving back to the land, creating together, and reflecting on our individual and connected journeys through nature.🏞️🌸

we'll begin with a group hike + river cleanup, leaving the space a little better than we found it 🧹

afterward, we’ll gather by the river for a solar dyeing workshop, poetry sharing session, and communal picnic. ☀️🧺

🌊please come prepared:

make sure to have your $5 adventure pass (you can purchase at rei, big 5, some gas stations - link to find in the rsvp)! bring at least 2 liters of water per person, sun protection, comfortable hiking shoes, snacks and drinks, and a picnic blanket or chair.

Some snippets of the process behind LB Seen. Thank you to @project___laro @maesfilmdiary for trusting the work enough to share this opportunity, keeping us on the rails for a couple months with her organization, and being a trusted and willing collaborator. A lot of work went into this show and I wanted to highlight some of the efforts, by us and our friends and family.

Thanks to everyone who came to the event, those who couldn't make it, our lovely vendors @thiiirdspaces @scrubbleteashop @meganxelysephoto @lightleak.ps for bringing their own creative flair and energy as well as our host @kubo.lb for lending their space. Special shoutout to my girlfiend @zoooeyy for gently guiding my anxious energy towards the finish line and my family for being the literal hands involved in our hand-made zines. Drowning in gratitude 🙇‍♂️
