What happened at Craft Cinema @kzonecafe ??

This one was made possible with the help of @iambrockstar who showed us this cool third space and put in so much effort into supporting KZone!

We gathered at KZone in Koreatown, LA for a night of movies, crafting, yapping, eating, coexisting, and simply taking up space.

Lots of carabiner charm swag made. Everyone’s charms look SO GOOD 🫦❤️‍🔥

Alice, KZone’s owner, cooked for us all night, welcomed us in, and made the night feel so special.

We watched Charlie’s Angels while making our own carabiner charms. Some brought their own creative projects as well.

This event was also a reminder of why showing up for small businesses matters. Third spaces don’t just sell food and drinks, they give us somewhere to gather, create, connect, and feel like we belong.

KZone gave us plenty to do beyond the movie. After the crafts, we stayed. We ordered more food. We played games. We took up space.

Thank you to everyone who came to support Kzone and helped us fill the room with creativity and connection!!

We hope to see more Craft Cinema events at Kzone hosted by @iambrockstar 🩵 taken in Koreatown, Los Angeles by @thiiirdspaces

Art is my sanctuary. I create to be at peace with myself. Overtime, I’ve learned how gratifying it can be to create with community. I am eternally grateful that I get to help provide this space for those who yearn to create & connect. Thank you for creating with us.✦ ݁˖

I couldn’t possibly add everything from the 50+ people who showed up, but seeing it all filled my heart with so much joy :)

Thank you @namikostudiocafe for welcoming us into your space, @thiiirdspaces for collaboration and planning, @jacquardproducts for supplying, @everythingeligy for your sonic creativity, & all of our guests for showing up with an open mind & heart
