Pronouns are words used to refer to other people, and it’s important that people are referred to in a way that affirms their identity. Stop by the @dsonlgbtq table on Britton Plaza to learn about #internationalpronounsday, take a picture, and pick out a pin with your pronoun(s) on it! Pictured: our student worker Julia (she/her) participating :) 🌈

Today is #DenimDay, a day where we wear denim to symbolically stand against victim blaming. This day is also #Day28 of the #30DaysofSAAM challenge. If you haven’t already, snap a picture and share it to show your support for survivors. @nsvrc 👖👖👖

Happy National Intern Day! Julia Kagan is the NWHN Communications Intern. This is her second summer with the NWHN. She is a student at Dickinson College studying Psychology with a minor in Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies. On working with the NWHN, she says, "As a communications intern, I have had countless valuable experiences with the organization, from the chance to have an article published in the Newsletter, attend events hosted by partner organizations, and build close relationships with NWHN staff. The connections I have made while working at the NWHN are so meaningful to me - I have met many mentors and friends who have helped me to become a better advocate for health equity. I am endlessly grateful for all that I have gained through this internship. I feel confident entering the workforce in the near future knowing that the NWHN has helped me to build valuable skills and relationships."
