A night that will stay with us.

30.07.2026 — our first live performance as PeriSkah ❤️‍🔥

The love and support we felt, the trust @_n.unn and @thinknima placed in us, and the connection we share through @periskahmusic made this moment incredibly special.

It was a true honour to have our first live performance as part of this solidarity event, in support of families in Iran.

Thank you to the organisers for creating this space, and to everyone who came, listened, supported, and shared this moment with us.

A beautiful beginning.

Hamnafas is a Persian word that means shared breath! It’s really important for us to embody Hamnafas by tapping into the voices of these creatives who carry an understanding of what it means to be Irani today. We want to make space for their feelings, amplify their stories, and talents and ultimately share it with you!

We have a brilliant showcase of creatives across, ranging from:
-visual art by @thinknima
- poetry by @amiralionly & @thinknima
- the debut of a new live band Persikah!!! @musicbyyari, @yazzdn, and @ezzgell !!!! 🥳
- dance performance by @saeed_sang.ab
- and dj’s @aamiroo_ and Rambonaut!

We’ll be raising funds to support families in Iran who need urgent medical & financial help due to the ongoing conflicts. Come by, support the cause and enjoy this beautiful showcase of artists!
See you 🥰

ITS FALLING QUICKLY AND WE’RE STILL IN A DEBATE

In the words of Omar El Akkad, “one day, everyone will have always been against this”

We wrote this song in December 2023. We wish it still wasn’t relevant. Over 18 months on, there’s still refusal to name genocide for what it is. Western imperialism will forever debate the semantics while commiting the crime. What did you do when humanity lost its persona?

A cold winters night. A world showing its true face. When @moonpawprint first laid down the chilling synths, there was only one direction the song could go. We layed down the verses. Angry. Frustrated. Grieving. Seeing past the veil. The song had been through various drafts before we settled on as close to the OG as possible. The magic we felt when making it is what we want you to hear

This artwork is dedicated specifically to the 5th song of the album “Altar Solar”, called “Triangulación”. This was the first song I started to compose, and it eventually became an analogy between space exploration and exploring one’s own psyche.

Triangulation is a mathematical method for determining the location of a point by using two other known coordinates related to said point. This method is frequently used in astronomy and the study of astral locations, and to me seems like a beautiful metaphor for exploring the vast and cosmic like domains of our psyche.

In my experience, this process of mental inner exploration turned out to be essentially unavoidable when dealing with past traumatic experiences and healing journeys. The more resistance was laid against it, the more it resulted in emotional turmoil!

I want to thank my friend @thinknima for this beautiful piece of artwork that captures the essence of these ideas. Check out his amazing art!

Loads of Love, Miguel 🌞✌️

Things will never be the same. How can they be? Sometimes I wake up and ask what have I just witnessed ? What are we witnessing ? Stressed bodies at the hands of those with starved souls.

What is the artists role in this ? What the fuck is a photo dump amongst the most documented genocide in history ? Why are you posting as if it’s just another day? It’ll never be just another day again. This is the beginning of the end. If your veil hasn’t been shattered by now, it’ll be too late by the time it does.

How can I have fun with all this destruction around me ? Friday 15th March
