✨Five Books Soon✨

Happy Thursday everyone! I’m still here trying to catch up on my tagged posts and I can’t believe this month is almost done already. Time is crazy.

I was tagged by @bookmadlibrarian for a Five Books Soon post, so here are five books off my TBR that I would really like to read soon. They’re just calling my name and are tired of being passed over.

Playground by Richard Powers
Blood over Bright Haven by M.L. Wang
The Pretender by Jo Harkin
The First Bright Thing by J.R. Dawson
Curious Tides by Pascale Lacelle

What’s a book that’s been sitting too long on your shelf that you really want to read?

I’ve tagged some people to show off their five books soon, but as always, no pressure.

✨Book Stack Challenge and Check In✨

Hi proof of life here after coming down with my sinus infection Friday. While I’m still sick and just in general still feeling unwell I am happy to report that atleast I’m better than I was. With having Lupus anytime I’m sick it takes me a bit longer than average to bounce back, so gonna still be taking things slow probably till the middle of the week. I will say all this resting has allowed me to catch up a bit on my backlogged reviews and read so atleast there’s that small win. However come this weekend I’ll be back to running around as my Florida trip is next week. What can I say my immune system really likes to have a sense of humor and break at the most inconvenient times.

As a way to kick off my return I thought I’d do this color book stack challenge that @thisbrittreads tagged me in. Luckily I was assigned 🖤 which I certainly have the most books in this color so the hardest part became which books to choose to use.

Tagging some booksta besties to also play along and as always no pressure🖤

The book itself is closed door spice but this bonus chapter???? All the 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. It also has spoilers so beware!

Preorders give authors (indie and trad alike) a HUGE boost on Amazon. Since that’s where my book is, I am doing the thing and asking you to go PREORDER.

There will be A LOT of Teleosis content coming your way in January. It’s such a huge deal for me and your support is what makes it happen!

Please preorder and let me give some stuff away to you, dear readers!!!

And to pique your interest, here is the partial blurb of the book: She lost everything and was forced to build a new life...
Inira Boehme was on the brink of her ascension to the role of High Priestess and Supreme Ruler of Teleosis, an ancient civilization born at the moment of Creation to bring hope, vision, and abundance to the whole world. Until her future was destroyed and left in as much ruin as the capital city...
Then, someone from her past offers to give it all back...
Twenty years later, she finds herself face to face with the life she worked tirelessly to hide. Destiny comes in the form of a mysterious man who promises to redeem all she lost, but it will require immense sacrifice.
Now, she must choose which path to walk...
