Hello friends! I’ve taken a couple of days off from posting because frankly, my head has been spinning since the launch of ✨Halcyon✨Tinker Tailor’s first scented candle, the first in a range of home scents and bath products. . . Its surreal to see my brand come to life in this way and for the first time since I opened @tinkertailoronlineshop I’ve allowed myself a pat on the back. . . But very few things can be achieved completely alone so I want to give a very special thanks to Jen @joinstorelondon for bringing my vision of a scent inspired by my Mediterranean roots to life using the finest quality ingredients 🌿🍊🏝Jen made every single votive of Halcyon by hand in her London studio. How wonderful is that? . . The beautiful packaging came via @seventytwostudio. Katherina was so in tune with my ideas and my vision that at times I wondered whether she could actually see inside my head! . . Not forgetting @thisdadtravels who is my biggest cheerleader. He sees me though the good days and the bad days and never doubts my ability to make Tinker Tailor a success - and believe me there are days when I question why on earth I set myself on this path? . . Then there’s you, my friends, followers, customers, all the wonderful people who support and encourage me along the way. None of this would be possible without you. . . If you made it this far, thank you and I’m sorry this post sounds like an acceptance speech 🙈 I just can’t pretend that this is all me. The truth is that Halcyon is the fruit of collaborative working and community support and it’s right to give credit where it’s due so THANK YOU to each and every one of you. Today was all about spending time with these three 🐒🐒🐒 . We had a bit of a disaster last night with in the car breaking down and an evening spent waiting for the recovery truck. Luckily I was able to get the bus back with the girls but it got me thinking about how life has a habit of balancing things out. . We got some great news last week (which I will share with you very soon) and then the car broke down. No drama in the grand scheme of things but it did spoil the weekend somewhat. So today was for putting things right with some family time and a slap up meal @barbecoa.
