I took my Mum to celebrate her 80th birthday at The Amex Stadium to watch Brighton Vs Wolves. We had the best hospitality in the Goldstone Restaurant and enjoyed a 3-0 win for the Seagulls. #bahafc #brightonandhovealbion by @thisdadtravels

A walk around Forty Hall today thinking about the things I’m grateful for. With so much wrong with the world I wanted to remind myself that most people are good and kind and just trying to run their own race. I wanted to remember what I was grateful for and this poem by @sonnygreenuk resonated with me. Look after yourself today, and if you can, someone else too. taken in Forty Hall Estate by @thisdadtravels

It’s Enfield Town vs Torquay United in the National League South today. Enfield Town desperately need 3 points to move them closer to safety. Sadly it didn’t end well despite taking an early lead and looking like scoring a second. In the end the better team won. Good luck to Torquay for the rest of the season. Good away support from them today. #enfieldtownfc taken in Queen Elizabeth Stadium by @thisdadtravels

I travel a lot for work and it’s overwhelming positive, but there are a few downsides. The long journeys, the jet lag, the lack of routine…I could go on. The reality is often different from the instagram story, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. As an example, after 26 hours of travel my laptop bag didn’t make it into the taxi with me, and so I’m now without my laptop, glasses, charger and batteries for the next week, which is frankly a disaster! No idea how it happened and it’s something I’ve never done in 20 years of international trade and not something I’ll be doing again. Fingers crossed it gets handed in by a Good Samaritan. taken in Waikiki, Hawaii by @thisdadtravels

Another disappointing result at @enfield_town_fc. After Henry Hawkins scores to make it 1-0 to The Towners, we immediately concede and go on to lose 1-2 to an Eastbourne team who showed more desire on the day. #nationalleaguesouth #enfieldtownfc taken in Enfield Town by @thisdadtravels
