Last Autumn, Dad and I had the joy of planning a Worship Leaders Retreat for leaders all over the province, in partnership with the incredible and hospitable team, @yitzybits and @baldjlo, at @barnabaslanding.

We gathered with over 50 leaders, for four days, to deepen our theology of worship, grow closer to Jesus and one another, be nourished by the Word (and Barnabas’ gourmet meals!), find deep rest, and engage our creativity through songwriting and more.

A very special thanks to @evanwickham & @sandywickham and the Hillsong LA staff @samlopez & @its_nicolemclean for joining our leadership team for this past one! So appreciate your passion, presence and wisdom. We loved serving and worshiping with you!

We are thrilled to share that we are planning another retreat this Autumn, November 11-14! Recently, registrations have reached the limit, but Barnabas has been kind enough to open the registration temporarily to a few more. There may be a wait list. Please check out the website for more information. We hope to see you there!

Guests this year:
@darrell_w_johnson , @nickherbs1 , @jennimcgrew

Special time with staff from the @worshipprojectcanada as well!

The last WITW for the summer is here 😭

2 Timothy 3:14-17 reminds us that knowing the Bible will equip and prepare us for every good work - as it becomes more important for us right now to know what the Bible says.

Thank you Isobel for this series!

WEDNESDAYS IN THE WORD WITH ISO!

Hebrews 4:12 reminds us that the Bible isn’t just a book - it’s actually alive and powerful, FULL of God’s spirit and authority. No wonder we feel different after reading it and hearing it! What does God want to speak to you today?

What’s a verse you’ve been loving right now? Drop it in the comments below, and if you liked this reel, share with a friend.

See you guys next week!

WEDNESDAYS IN THE WORD WITH ISO!

If you missed church on Sunday, catch up with Isobel as she reads Romans 6:8-14 and reminds us that we are not bound by sin anymore because of Jesus’ death and resurrection. If you are reading this right now, you have direct access to freedom through Him! He has made it possible for you. This is good news 🙏

Share with a friend who needs to hear this! See you guys at the next one 👋

WEDNESDAYS IN THE WORD WITH ISO!

In James 4:1-8 and Matthew 6:33, we read about how God wants us to give Him our wants and needs with the right intentions - to seek HIM first above all else. He is passionate for our spirits to be faithful to Him.

Have you checked in with God today? Let this be your check in. Know that you are so deeply loved!

See you next week 🫶

WEDNESDAYS IN THE WORD WITH ISO!

If you’ve been feeling like God doesn’t hear you or that He won’t provide for you, remember how Jesus teaches us to pray in Matthew 6:7-13. The Lord’s Prayer shows us that we can Pause, Rejoice, Ask, and Yield to our Heavenly Father, each and every day.

Did this encourage you today? Let us know in the comments below and send it to a friend.

See you all soon! 🙏
