I have to tell you guys something.

the TLDR is that God is excavating my heart and changing how I want to approach my music for the future. but it is my childlike hope that you read the whole thing.

stay tuned for whatever’s next 🫶

oh, August. you were amazing.

while this month was full of highlights and moments of extravagant grace, getting to preach my first ever Sunday sermon has to take the cake. it’s funny how preaching is meant to feed the sheep of a church, but I found the process of it feeding me more than I ever could have imagined. God’s Word felt electric in my mouth as I spoke, and while I was in front of a full house of people, I felt a strange calm, knowing the focus wasn’t meant for me to entertain, but to point to the Father. what an experience. thank you @pacificcommunitychurch for taking a chance on me and giving me such a wonderful opportunity this summer. 🫶

WEDNESDAYS IN THE WORD WITH ISO!

In James 4:1-8 and Matthew 6:33, we read about how God wants us to give Him our wants and needs with the right intentions - to seek HIM first above all else. He is passionate for our spirits to be faithful to Him.

Have you checked in with God today? Let this be your check in. Know that you are so deeply loved!

See you next week 🫶

JULY - you were a sunburn. you were bright, optimistic, and full of possibilities. and even then, when I found myself in quiet rooms, my naïveté ran amok and I ran towards fairweather feelings to escape the underbelly of solitude; lifting up the rock to see what critters were lurking underneath. I was humbled deeply this month, confronted by various realities. but God always does it out of love, doesn’t He? He disciplines His kids. and even moreso, I must accept and believe, through gritted teeth, that perhaps my Heavenly Father does indeed delight in me. anyways - swipe for antics!
