Some moments change you. This was one of mine🎉🎉🎉 Folks We Did It!!! The Challenger Foundation has officially launched!!. It was the beginning of something that has genuinely transformed me.
We filled a beautiful room at Fort York with artists, wellness leaders, changemakers and people who came together because they believed in what we were building. We sold out our first gala. We celebrated. We ate. We laughed. We experienced incredible performances.
But most importantly, we showed up for a cause.
For homeless youth. For mental health. For children, women and men who need spaces where they can be supported, heard and empowered.
There were a lot of conversations, sleepless nights, faith and grit behind these photographs. And I would do every second of it again.
To everyone who believed, supported, performed, volunteered, partnered, donated or simply walked through those doors. Thank you!
We’re just getting started.

You may not be confused.

You may just be used to surviving.

When a woman has carried too much for too long, desire can start to feel dangerous.

So she stops asking:
What do I want or need?
What would feel good?
What would bring me back to life?

And she starts asking:
What must be done?
Who needs me?
What is urgent?
How do I keep going?

That is how survival slowly replaces desire.

But your desire matters.

Not every desire needs to be acted on immediately.
Not every desire is wisdom.
Not every craving is a calling.

But desire can reveal what your soul has been missing.

Tenderness. Rest. Connection. Beauty.
Safety. Joy. Freedom.
Being held. Being seen.

If you have spent years being the strong one, this is your reminder:

You ARE ALLOWED TO WANT AGAIN.

And you are allowed to heal deeply enough to know the difference between what numbs you and what brings you back to life.

Today was a good day!

Because I was in the right room.

The Leading Ladies Conference 2026 in Toronto held conversations that were honest, practical and necessary.

Here’s what stayed with me:
Ask better questions. The kind that actually move things.

Trust your gut. You can’t build well with the wrong people.

Know your numbers. Say them out loud. Build like it’s real.

Choose partners and investors carefully. Alignment is not optional.

Put structure in place early. Contracts protect clarity.

And this one settled deeply:
The women who scale well are not waiting to feel ready.
They’re building, failing, learning, and trusting themselves anyway.

That’s the energy I was in today.

Well done to the @leadingladiesconnect x @rubicorneventmgt teams for a thoughtful and well-executed experience.

And to the women in the room… we’re not playing small anymore.
