Happy Birthday to one of God’s greatest gifts to me.

Thank you for giving me VIP access to knowing you, the real you. I don’t take it for granted.

I’ve not known a more beautiful, gracious, loving, selfless, nurturing, smart, talented, ambitious, regal, intelligent being than you. I also know what’s up if anybody gets your timing wrong, Southside Chicago girl 😮‍💨. I don’t take it for granted.

Thank you for stretching me, supporting me, showing up when I can’t, choosing to do this life shit with me day in and day out, being down for whatever I’m down for, letting me learn from you, and being the epitome of a partner. I don’t take it for granted.

What an honor it is to celebrate you out loud, the way you should be celebrated. The way I’ve seen you grow is incredible and I’m excited for your next chapter. I’ll knock over whoever and whatever about you. Let’s keep mashing, we got shit to do!

I decided a couple of years ago to build the next chapter of business and life in New York. As we continue to split time, the foundation is coming together. The energy in home #2 (for now) was incredible this past week as we attended @tribeca and I think the basketball team won a game or something.

In Paul Graham’s now famous essay “What Does Your City Say To You?”, it argues that every city has a “voice” that constantly tells you what you should strive to be.

Manhattan tells me to not just exist but to run it up. And so it shall be! I’m usually running around somewhere downtown solo or with @thisistyla by my side. Holla at me.
