**This almost ended up being the music video for “Sunday Scaries.”**

Up now on youtube

The dog masks were the biggest thing holding up the original concept. We didn’t know if we should buy them, make them, or how we were even going to pull it off. Laura eventually said she had it covered, so we waited it out.

As time kept passing, though, we started getting nervous. Schedules were getting tight, and we knew we needed to shoot something. So we filmed this performance setup instead, with the idea that we were playing at the female dog character’s wake.

We shot it, edited it, and actually really liked it.

Then Laura figured out the masks.

Once we filmed the full dog storyline and started putting everything together, the wake footage just didn’t fit anymore. It gave away too much of the ending, so we ended up cutting it completely.

Now it finally gets to exist as a lyric video, and weirdly enough, it almost feels like a little part two to the original video.

Every day was an adventure with you.

Time couldn’t move slow enough.

What I’d do for another day.

I think about this day often.

I think about the first time we met.
I think about what you wore that day.
I think about how easy it all was.

And I can’t believe we don’t get to have any more days like this.

I was left unsupervised with AI lol 🫣
Now my camera roll has more fake memories than real ones and my family has a past they didn’t have. 🤪 No actual memories were made in the making of this family album. 😂📸
