If people are asked to sit still for too long, attention naturally fades because our bodies weren’t designed for that.

Therese and I were talking about this in the context of conferences and corporate events.

Many of us have seen it from the front of the room or from the production side, watching people become more and more uncomfortable as long sessions go on.

Normalizing movement could make a big difference.

When people can move a little, breathe a little and reorganize themselves, they often come back more present and receptive.

Sometimes what supports clearer thinking isn’t more information, it’s a body that can keep up with the mind.

Always a pleasure to speak with @theresemjardine at @strategiceventprocurement

Soooo many things happened over the last year and a half but one of the biggest changes in my life was that I started doing improv. Here are some those moments

My 2025 has been defined by improvising and making memories with the most wonderful friends and the community at Finest City Improv 🥹❤️ Before starting improv, I couldn’t remember the last time I laughed so hard I cried!

Improv permanently changed me and the way I see the world for the better. I’m so grateful for the impact it has had on me and the people I got to meet through both playful and vulnerable moments.

I’m also so appreciative for being invited to play with the warmest house team ever, Artificial Idiocy. And my class cohort/indie team HYA! means the world to me - it wouldn’t have been the same with any other group of folks 💕

Just shoot a DM over to our main account @gnarcytribe (if you dont see a DM button, just reply to any of their stories), and our guy Shawn will sort you out pronto! But hey, don't sleep on it – spots are filling up fast, and we'd hate for you to miss out on the action! Cheers, mate! 🤙
