New music from @danielprendiville on @reinchequerecordings. This is an intensely satisfying album of ambient tracks which I can highly recommend.

“Howdy,

Happy New Year to you all!

2024 is going to be a very busy year for me, music-wise, and today I kick-off the insanity by release my first album of the year - FREE STANDING VOL. 3.

It's a sibling to the first two volumes of the FREE STANDING series and once again comprises some tracks that were recorded specially to feature on compilation albums released during 2023.

It also includes tracks that were "beds" for tracks that appeared on the Cousin Silas/Daniel Prendiville collaboration - NO TITLE AS SUCH- which also was released in 2023.

I hope you enjoy FREE STANDING VOL. 3, Please let me know if you do!

Regards,

djp”

@limneticvillains just released 'The Last Patrol In The Universe'

“This is an ambient work of oddness, re-released on Bandcamp after being deleted from a small record label. It's not like any of my other albums.

All of the profits from this album will be donated to the Irish Cancer Society in aid of cancer research.”

Check for links in their bio 😎

Thank you to everyone who came down to our album launch show and streamed it from as far away as Paris and Oslo! We really enjoyed playing and felt the album got a good nudge into the world 🌙

Thanks to @thisshipargo for a really wonderful set, and everyone at @accidentaltheatre who were so accommodating in making the show what we wanted. Thanks to Rosie Hickey for talking the photos 😊

You can still watch the show on demand on Accidental’s website - link in bio. And we’ll have the album packs up for sale on our Bandcamp page soon if you weren’t able to make it down.

Ahead of Belfast 24 - an ambitious, year-long cultural celebration set throughout Belfast next year - we’re going to highlight some of the many world-beating albums and EPs released by Belfast, and Belfast-based, artists this year

First up we go way back to the start of the year and the release of ‘Flowers, Sparks, Fireworks’ by electronic producer and musician Aileen McKenna aka This Ship Argo. Across eight songs, the Belfast-based artist weaved a tapestry of widescreen and wonderfully imaginative soundscapes. Pairing deft harmonies and slow-burning synth brilliance, it's an LP that well and truly warrants a revisit

Stream ‘Flowers, Sparks, Fireworks’ via the link in our bio and keep an ear to the ground for new This Ship Argo in 2024
