The definition of cinema has evolved over the years.

We often see cinema as entertainment, but once, shadow puppetry was also a means of education. Padma Shri Ramachandra Pulavar sat behind the screen, his lamps glowing in a dimly lit room filled with puppets. The lamp burned like a torch, lighting the path for generations yet to come.

His art believes in equality. He has never made a distinction in who it belongs to, only a commitment to making it accessible to all. He adapts it to different spaces, different characters, but carries a single purpose, to make everyone a part of the story.
