A busy weekend for Misch’s Excel Garage for the 2023 Circuit Excel SA Enduro, we had 2x 1 hour Endurance races with some extremely close battles for the front runners & midfield pack.

A fierce 36 car field with star TA2 & Toyota 86 drivers joining us this weekend. Well done to everyone involved we had a blast. 🏁

2022 has been a big year! Travelled lots with AMG, built a Race Team, hung out with a cool kid that calls me Dad, bought another business and a house. Not behd

See you soon 2023

For the first photo, to my friend, driver, student and employee @shannonmclaineracing thank you for giving us something to smile about this weekend. Mega effort as always, we really didn’t have the car this weekend, but 3rd was a great result.
.
As for the second photo, well, it is what it is. People around me, supporting my lunacy and riding the roller coaster of Motorsport, Business and Life. I’m a better person for having you all in it and I couldn’t do this without each and every one of you ❤️

I’ve been home an hour now and can’t really put the weekend into words. I’ve had some tough race meetings in my life, but this was a whole new level.

To the people that stood with me, checked on me, got us food/drinks/parts. I love you all

Tom - Reece - Wade - George - Steve - Mal … No words, just endless thanks

Huge few days here at SMP for the 99MS Family. More work than ever anticipated with engine dramas in 98 and Electrical gremlins in the 99.
.
@shannonmclaineracing was close in qualifying and ended up 4th in Race 1
.
Amazing that @andrewshah_29 was 15km/h down in a straight line and still managed P10. Problem solved late yesterday 🥴
.
@thomas.duncan98 in the 98 has had two engines go to Rotary Heaven 🫡 and we now have a hybrid of the two to try today 🫠🤷🏼‍♂️

Motorsport is Character Building they say

I often say inspiring shit like “Pressure is a Privilege” and “Adversity Shapes our Character”, but this weekend made me question the validity of most of them. At least the weather was good 🤷🏼‍♂️
.
Without my brother @thomas.cusumano we copped it all… changed an Engine in #7, a Gearbox and some more running repairs on #98 amongst probably 5 wheel alignments on cars through the field
.
Gutted for @thomas.duncan98
Proud of @kiarazabetakisracing_
Stoked for @shannonmclaineracing
.
A tumultuous weekend. Too many to thank, you all know who you are. Love you all ❤️
.
Can I go back to driving now? Please 🫠
