Another week closer to fight day. 🤩
Feeling so good to be training and having something to really look forward to. I haven’t felt this excited about something in a very long time.
6 weeks to go! 👊

Fight details will be announced soon 🙌🏼

The cat’s finally out of the bag 👀🥊

Super excited to announce that I’ll be making my professional debut on the BIGGEST boxing event in Australia this year. WHAT?!

Tim Tszyu vs Errol Spence - 26th of July.

There was a point where I thought I was done with boxing and was ready to hang up the gloves.

After the Paris Olympics, I continued my journey in the amateurs and had my last amateur fight in Brazil in March last year. I was ready to transition to the professional ranks when I suffered a broken hand. The setback was tough, and for a while I lost hope and thought the passion for the sport might be gone too.

I was forced to stop boxing for a few months and when I was back at the gym, something really clicked. The drive and hunger just came back.

Now, I get to begin the next chapter on one of the biggest stages in Australian boxing! 🤩

It still feels surreal.

Cannot be grateful enough to @nolimit_aus for giving me this opportunity.

Let’s gooooo👊🔥

Today I learnt how to develop & print my own film, what a beautiful process.

I’ve always gotten my film developed at labs and never really considered the actual process of what it is to develop & print film, start to finish. Today I realised how this is such a lost art now with digital cameras and editing apps. (Not dissing these platforms though, grateful hehe)

I love the photographer Helmut Newton, I have a few of his books and recently read his autobiography. He spoke a lot about his photography process… the days of dark rooms and damaged film. I guess I forgot that back then photography only consisted of film and digital printing. A whole different process and level of skill and time had to be taken to get the final shot. I guess I forgot that but also never really realised the extent of it. After 6 hours in the dark room today, I think I’m just at the start of beginning to understand the extend of it lol.

Film makes you so much more intentional when shooting but printing it and seeing the image come to life is a whole different level and I can’t wait to continue to learn and dive deeper into this world.

Thank you to the beautiful @gabby_taylor4 for being down to shoot - I saw Gabby when I was out with my friends and she was out with hers and instantly had to ask if she would be down to shoot because wow look at her face! This is what we got ♥️

Thank you @thomasjamesparrish & @markparrishphoto at @manlypictureframing for taking the time to teach us today. Loved it (clearly lol)

Introducing OOFT.

A couple of years ago, a group of friends came together to help capture that feeling - the raw, real reaction to SISUU and the OOFT that shortly follows.

You see SISUU lands differently for everyone. It lights you up, it sends a shiver down the spine and makes you very warm inside. And mostly, it makes you feel alive.

So in ode to a Thursday, and to the fact that it truly takes a village. I’m excited to share with you our OOFT Commercial.

Shot in my sister’s old office by friends who are incredibly talented, and people who trusted me and the team to be put on the spot and in the lime light. 🙏

Thank you to those behind the camera, those who stepped in front of it, and those who helped bring it out of the editing studio and into world. The list is long.

Sorry it’s only just seeing the light of day. The gratitude is stronger nonetheless.

And incase you were wondering - Yes Yellow is still Carols favourite colour.

Australian photographer Tom Parrish (@thomasjamesparrish) captured these raw moments of devastation at the airport as supporters watched members of Iran’s women’s national football team prepare to return home following threats to their families’ safety after competing in Australia.

Parrish’s images document the heartbreak and solidarity felt by those witnessing the moment unfold.

It is a reminder that when women’s freedom is threatened anywhere, people around the world feel the weight of it.

Our rights are connected. Our grief is connected. Our freedom is connected.

None are free until all are free. ❤️‍🩹

Some people run for PBs.
I ran with a a charge 6 JBL speaker and with questionable decision making 🔥 🔊

This Sunrun was elite, the crowd was unreal, legs were moving fast and the vibes were LOUD for the full 10km.

If you smiled, laughed or accidentally ran faster because of the music… you’re welcome 🤍🤣

10/10 would happily bring the beats again.

Another fun 24 hours in paradise. Catching up with old and new friends and saying goodbyes has been fun. Bittersweet. Feeling the whole range of emotions from sadness to elation. Life is a roller coaster. But I’ve learned to roll with the punches. The pain does pass and the joy does return. I am good enough. I don’t have to please others. Near enough is good enough. So thanks to all you food peeps who have been on this journey with me. Older, wiser and grateful 🙏 💪🏼 💃
