The Amma, a project by Thomas Sturm, emerges as a deeply personal labour of love. This self-initiated concept for a fictional café and coffee roaster was born during Sturm’s sun-soaked summer in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2024.⁠

“I’ve always had a big love for coffee,” says Sturm. “My first branding project was for a café in my hometown, and I knew this was what I wanted to be doing.” As his career evolved into other industries, he created The Amma to reconnect with his foundational passions while exploring new creative territories.⁠

Zwischen meiner Arbeit, me time und Zeit mit meinen Freunden, nehme ich mir gern auch mal einen kurzen Moment der Dankbarkeit. Oft realisieren wir ziemlich schnell, was wir vermeidlich nicht haben, oder uns fehlt, oder doch noch gerne hätten. Dadurch vergisst man oft, wofür wir eigentlich alles Dankbar sein sollten und Dankbar sein dürfen.

Ich bin dankbar für dieses Leben, für meine Familie, für meine Freunde, für all die tollen Menschen mit denen ich arbeiten darf, für die Freiheiten die ich genießen kann, für einen Job den ich liebe und für Zeit die ich für mich habe.

Für was bist du dankbar ?

Nutze doch mal eine freie Minute und denk darüber nach und beobachte was mit dir passiert.

There’s been many bits since the birth of Lorna_bits! I feel grateful! I feel excited!
