Regionals Recap: A story of perseverance! Gwendolyn was sick and sleep deprived, but would not think of withdrawing. She started on bars and went big on her cast and had a fall, but picked herself up and finished strong! She earned season highs on Floor & Beam and a strong vault for her final event. Super proud of her medal on beam! We loved supporting @leightonskinner2029 in the All Star session! Excited to get back in the gym and work upgrades!!

Special Thanks to Bee for the quick work on her Regionals Bow 🎀

Level 6 State Meet brings her first season in DP to a close and I have to take a moment to reflect and recognize the hard things Gwendolyn accomplished in the last 10 months - moved to a new gym, trained and tested out of both Level 4 & 5 last summer and fall, while training for the level she would compete if all went according to plan… she finished her season on a high note with the best bar routine of the season (watch the end of the video to see her pure joy with her coach 🥹), tied a PR on floor for this season and made some excellent form improvements to increase her beam score - she competed a back handspring in 7 meets and landed it 5/7 times, Sat just wasn’t one of them. Her lowest score of the day is what she earned a medal in, but that’s how this sport goes!
We can’t thank Element Gymnastics Kellie Thomlison Elyse Gaughan Scoma enough for welcoming us and pouring into the team! These girls love what they do, but they love each other too and we are so happy to be a part of the family 🩵🖤.
