Fun family day spent with friends and family! Couldn’t bring myself to wear KU gear and pretty sure my brother and were the only ones at the Wheel cheering for MU! Post workout at TTT. I wear these leggings every Friday for what I call Freedom Friday. This week I have missed my 19 year old army boy a little bit more than usual. Seeing all the posts of kids going back to school and college has been a little hard on my military mom heart. He’s doing great and what he wants to be doing and I support him 1000%. I am his biggest supporter and if you know me, you know I go all in! If you’re ever looking for my house, you will have no doubt which one it is! Ha! He and so many others are doing what he’s doing so we can have these freedoms.🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 by @thomlisonk

It’s “freedom Friday”! Well, that’s what I’m calling it! 5 more sleeps until I see my soldier! We leave Tuesday! I see him Wednesday for his “turning blue” ceremony then graduation on Thursday! Then I get him for a few days! Longest 5 months of my life. He will stay where he’s at for his next training. Which will be hard again. This army mom life is really something on the mom heart. If you know you know. I do have to brag on him, he got 500/500 on his physical fitness testing! When he did that, he was the only one in his whole battalion! He ended up runner up for “iron soldier”. He’s been in a leadership role since before his “turning green” ceremony. Nobody is prouder than I am! If you would like to send him a letter or card or something for me to take to him, PM me or text me and I will get it before I leave! His next training is going to be a tough one. He wants to be a Ranger and his next steps await him!🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 by @thomlisonk

I don’t know exactly when and I haven’t heard from Luke but he completed his last big training! He made it to Honor Hill and got his cross rifles!🇺🇸 I can’t wait to hear from him and see him in less than 2 weeks! Look up Honor Hill fort benning on YouTube! by @thomlisonk

We survived the crazy lake weather and made some great memories. I didn’t get to see Jack but he was at the lake as well! He sent me a pic! I’ve been water skiing for 50 years now. Started when I was 3. I can still do it! Video to prove it is attached! We saw some amazing majestic Eagles yesterday and today! Simply breath taking and so American! I was especially missing Luke on his favorite holiday but it fills me with pride seeing his commitment to serving something greater than himself! He’s almost to Honor Hill and I will get to see him in a few weeks!🇺🇸🦅 taken in Roach, Missouri by @thomlisonk

Yep…I go all in! Heck ya! I’m proud to have raised an American Soldier! God bless the USA! They 4th of July is Luke’s favorite holiday. I’m missing him but so proud of what he’s doing! Ironically he starts his last big training tomorrow on the 4th and it culminates on the 8th with a special infantry ceremony. 🇺🇸 taken in Thomson Team Training by @thomlisonk
