Happy Birthday to our sweet Miss Ponca City’s Teen Amelia Morrow! Millie is one of the most genuine women I know. She leads with kindness in all situations. She cares deeply about others and I have been blessed to get to know her this year. So please take a moment to go to her Miss Ponca City’s Teen insta page and wish her the best birthday ever!

Surrounded by love and support, our @missamericaok and @missamericasteenok are ready for Miss America! I am grateful to have grown close to Jase and Fin over the last few years, and I can say that one thing they both have in common is a huge heart full of of love and care. America would be lucky to have either of these women, but Oklahoma loves you both so much and we can’t wait to see you both shine!🫶🏽✨

Got to celebrate and send-off our Oklahoma girls for Miss America and Miss America's Teen yesterday 💗🧡

I can't wait to watch @finleyhenderson_ and @jaselynrossman shine so bright and it has been such a blessing to have them as my teen and sister queen this past year. You both are filled with so much love, grace and poise and I am beyond proud of you both! You represent Oklahoma so well and I know will absolutely rock that Miss America and Miss America's Teen stage!

It was so good to see so many Miss Oklahoma Sisters as well and have a much needed reunion! I also had to get my hands on the official @missamericaok soap from @tulsamagnoliasoapandbathco "Sweet Dreams" and OH MY GOSH it is literally a DREAM🧼🫧 Be sure to grab yours!!!

There’s something incredibly special about coming home.
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put into words what it meant to direct my first ever pageant in my home county. This is the same place where I grew up showing cattle, where I spent countless hours in the barn and the show ring, where I made some of my sweetest childhood memories, and where so many people helped shape the girl I would become. I remember being the little girl who needed someone to tell her she was good enough, brave enough, and capable enough to step into a ring and be proud of herself. And somehow, years later, I found myself standing on the other side of that experience, getting to be that voice for someone else.

It wasn’t perfect. There were bumps, stressful moments, and plenty of things I’ll learn from for the next one. But every time I saw a nervous child take a deep breath and walk onto that stage, every time I got to encourage someone who was doubting themselves, and every time I watched a smile come across a child’s face because they realized they had done something they were scared to do, I knew it was worth it. At the end of the day, the crown was never the most important part. The most important part was making these kids feel seen, celebrated, and believed in. I hope they remember this day long after the sash is put away and the crown is sitting on a shelf. I hope they remember how proud they felt, how hard they worked, the friends they made, and most importantly, that there was someone in their corner telling them they could do it.

There is something so beautiful about returning to the place that helped raise you and realizing you now have the opportunity to give back a little of what was once given to you. I came back to my home county to direct a pageant, but in so many ways, it felt like coming home to the little girl I used to be. And getting to help another generation of kids find their confidence, their voice, and their own little piece of magic in this world is something I will carry with me for a very, very long time. 💗
