There’s something incredibly special about coming home.
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put into words what it meant to direct my first ever pageant in my home county. This is the same place where I grew up showing cattle, where I spent countless hours in the barn and the show ring, where I made some of my sweetest childhood memories, and where so many people helped shape the girl I would become. I remember being the little girl who needed someone to tell her she was good enough, brave enough, and capable enough to step into a ring and be proud of herself. And somehow, years later, I found myself standing on the other side of that experience, getting to be that voice for someone else.

It wasn’t perfect. There were bumps, stressful moments, and plenty of things I’ll learn from for the next one. But every time I saw a nervous child take a deep breath and walk onto that stage, every time I got to encourage someone who was doubting themselves, and every time I watched a smile come across a child’s face because they realized they had done something they were scared to do, I knew it was worth it. At the end of the day, the crown was never the most important part. The most important part was making these kids feel seen, celebrated, and believed in. I hope they remember this day long after the sash is put away and the crown is sitting on a shelf. I hope they remember how proud they felt, how hard they worked, the friends they made, and most importantly, that there was someone in their corner telling them they could do it.

There is something so beautiful about returning to the place that helped raise you and realizing you now have the opportunity to give back a little of what was once given to you. I came back to my home county to direct a pageant, but in so many ways, it felt like coming home to the little girl I used to be. And getting to help another generation of kids find their confidence, their voice, and their own little piece of magic in this world is something I will carry with me for a very, very long time. 💗 by @thompson.ady

My heart is so full 💗

As we gathered for our Miss Oklahoma send-off, I couldn’t help but reflect on how blessed I am to share this journey with such incredible titleholders: Miss Heartland Teen, Miss Ponca City, and Miss Ponca City Teen. Standing alongside these young women and seeing the love and support that filled the room was a reminder of just how special this experience truly is.

Preparing for Miss Oklahoma has been a journey of growth, faith, hard work, and so many unforgettable memories. There have been moments of excitement, moments of doubt, and moments where I’ve had to trust the path God has placed before me. Through it all, I have been surrounded by people who have encouraged me, believed in me, and reminded me why I started.

To everyone who came to celebrate with us tonight, thank you. Thank you for every prayer, every kind word, every message, every sponsorship, and every ounce of support. Your belief in me means more than I could ever put into words.

As Miss Oklahoma draws near, I am carrying every lesson, every memory, and every person who has helped me get here in my heart. No matter what happens on that stage, I am already so grateful for this journey and the opportunity to represent the Heartland.

Here’s to making memories, chasing dreams, and embracing every moment of this next chapter. 💗🥳

Today is a moment I don’t think I’ll ever fully have the words for

Getting to meet Miss America wasn’t just about meeting someone with a title. It was about coming face to face with a dream I’ve been quietly carrying in my heart for so long. A dream that has been built through long days, hard seasons, moments of doubt, and so many prayers for direction and strength.

There have been times on this journey where I questioned if I was enough, if I was doing it right, or if all the effort would ever amount to something meaningful. Today reminded me that every single step, every setback, every lesson, every small victory, has had a purpose. It’s all been shaping me into who I’m meant to be, both on and off the stage.

Standing there today, I wasn’t just inspired by who she is, but by what she represents: service over self, using your voice for something bigger, and walking in purpose even when the path isn’t easy. It lit a fire in me all over again to keep going, to keep growing, and to keep pouring into others through my story.

This journey has never just been about a crown. It has been about impact, about connection, and about being a light in places that need it most. Today felt like a gentle reminder from God that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

I’m so incredibly grateful for this moment, for the love and support that surrounds me, and for the opportunity to keep chasing something that means so much to me. The dream feels closer, but more importantly, the purpose feels clearer than ever. 💗 by @thompson.ady

I’ve reflected back on my first few weeks as Miss Heartland, and wow. As a little girl I could have never imagined I would be here. I never thought I was special enough. Well guess what, everyone is special enough. I would give anything to go back and hug little Ady and let her know that she is worthy. If you’re reading this know how special you are. Life goes by in an instant so chase that dream. Even if it sounds crazy. You never know, you might just end up a pageant queen 😉 by @thompson.ady
