Happy National Coaches Day! 💙

Today we’re showing some extra love to the coaches here at Max Effort Performance, but also to coaches everywhere who continue to lead, teach, motivate, challenge, and believe in the people around them.

Whether you coach in a gym, on a field, on a court, or anywhere in between. The impact goes far beyond workouts, wins, and losses. The lessons, relationships, and confidence you help build can last a lifetime.

To our Max Effort coaches and every coach making a difference today, THANK YOU for everything you pour into others.

One of my favorite ways to load a split squat for athletes.

Safety bar + dead stop on the pins.

I like these for athletes because you’re getting strong in a position where you have to produce force and stabilize all from a dead stop.

Set the pins, get comfortable in the bottom, come to a complete stop, and drive.

Meet my 2 PM group

Different people, but somehow they’re all the same

They show up ready to work, push each other, complain about the finishers, and somehow always find a way to make me laugh.

Same group. Same time. Same standards.

Wouldn’t trade this crew for anything.

Got to head out Saturday night and support one of my clients @kody_bryant_ while he was doing his thing on stage!

Proud to train hard with him in the gym, and even more fun getting to support what he does outside of it! Keep doing your thing brotha🤘🏼

A premium warm up isn’t just about getting warm.

Every movement has a purpose increasing temperature, improving mobility, priming the nervous system, and preparing you for the work ahead.

This is how we get our clients ready to perform. 💪🏼

Fun deceleration drill we’ve been doing with the athletes

Using the timing gates keeps the athletes honest about effort and intensity on the sprint while the wall forces them to breakdown on a dime

Sometimes the only thing standing between you and your goals is the version of you that’s afraid to believe you can get there.
